I ordered this chart tape to make a weekly calendar grid on one of my dry erase boards in my family info center (basically a wall in our kitchen with 4 magnetic dry erase boards to help keep our family organized). I could not find a pre-printed dry erase board that included all the category rows we wanted for our weekly calendar, so after finding this tape I decided to make one myself!This tape was very easy to line up, position, and step back and re-position if needed. I didn't have to measure anything to get these lines straight, by being able to peel up and try again, it only took me about 10 minutes to make my entire chart! And once I got them where I wanted, I just pressed firmly along each line, and so far nothing has moved or peeled up at all. This is a great product, and I don't understand why it is not more commonly available in stores!5/11/2015 Update: These lines are still firmly in place and haven't moved or peeled up at all.

With chart tape, there are several factors that you need to know:Application: How easy is it apply? - Does it try to re-curl on itself during application, creating wasted glued tape? - Does it crinkle or rip suddenly when applying a long line?Color-fast - How well the color hold? Can you use dry erase cleaner on the board and over the tape?Holding edges - With frequent wiping of writing, can you wipe over the tape, will the tape edges curl up and begin to come up?Here are answers to the questions:Application with two people usually creates a professional result. The first person applies and holds the starting point. The 2nd person lets out, without stretching but with tension, the tape, holding at angle away from the surface, to just beyond application ending. Then checking level the entire length is applied by both persons at once. The far edge will have excess which is removed by razor blade.Tendency to rip during this method: If stretching is kept minimal, there should be no tearing, otherwise risk of tear over long distance is probable.Color-Fast: Slight fade after 6 months of bi-weekly dry-erase cleaner usageEdges holding during wiping: This is the most common problem. A heavy handed wipe, which many people do when they leave dry erase ink on a board too long, will shred the tape off the board rather quickly.I hope this review is helpful. I ordered these to use on my whiteboard in my music classroom. The lines that were there for the staves have been disintegrating over the years and it was very difficult to reach with them. I had my doubts but figured the opportunity cost with these was worth it- and it certainly was. They look wonderful on the board and were really easy to apply.

The first couple of feet kept ripping when I started to use it so be very careful when using. It’s very delicate. We were using it to make a chart on a black glass board so we had to unwind very slow as we laid it on the. Lard. Looks beautiful though when placed.

I don't know if I got the wrong package or what. It looked like this but I literally got a roll with about 130" of tape. I used it on a 22"x18" white board. I got one line down the middle that would have been 22" and about 6 horizontal lines at about 18" before I ran out. I was very disappointed in the amount I got. As far as quality, I like it. It sticks well, is the perfect width for making lines.

This tape is great, and especially for the price. We had some special products to do on white boards and got this product to suit our needs. When the project was over, the tape easily came off without any struggle and the white board was as good as new. The tape was wide enough for us to label each row and column on our charts. The only con is that although it is simple to use, the tape gets a bit dingy after a while. We have purchased multiple of this product though, we are happy with it.

I bought this to use on a white board to create a calendar. When I found preprinted calendar white boards that fit my purpose better (and looked nicer) I wanted to take the tape off of my other white board so I could go back to using it for quick notes and displaying pictures with magnets and such.Unfortunately, I forgot the tape was permanent. It's a struggle trying to get it off and it leaves adhesive residue and bits of black tape all over the place. I'm incredibly bummed.Why five stars if I'm so bummed out? I can't deny that the product does exactly what it said it will. It says it's permanent and IT IS PERMANENT.

In the description of this product it states the material is durable, with permanent adhesive and sticks to plastic. This is not the case as I attempted to stick it on to a plastic slot car track and in a matter of hours without touching it was coming off on its own.
