We have been doing some DIY projects in our house lately :)..including ridding ourselves of old white gloss fixtures and fittings. I was looking for something to Boujie up our existing handrails after sanding them down and repainting them a dark grey with the door paint I purchased from Amazon.I chose these due to their size, they fit older house, older wooden rails if that makes sense?The only issue I had with these.. they were about 1/2cm off at 6cm (the handrail being approx 5.5cm in diameter), so following what another lovely Amazon reviewer advised about using some packing I followed his lead, I actually used some rubber O rings my Hubby had in the garage (think they were for exhausts??), these then fitted a treat :).They are a very nice, well priced, finishing accent, to upscale your decor on a budget and I highly recommend them.

Yes, you could shave with the edge on these caps! Just be extra careful when you are handling them, I took a piece of coarse scotchbrite and removed as much of the edge as I could but you still need to be careful!They fit and they do look good but one star off for the really annoying fixing hole which appears to be stamped-in before they are polished. Try as you might you will never get rid of the burr around the hole inside, a real pain when you are fitting them on a polished rail!

Deceive descriptions in an ad. Very very thin metal cap and very sharp edge like a knife. If you are looking cheap item without quality then this item is for you.

Value for money absolutely great but they were not of great finish luckily I only needed 2 out of the 4 as the others were damaged with scratches on them. But quality was good for the price

These caps were bought to tidy up the ends of a new handrail recently fitted to our staircase.They fitted perfectly and look very neat.Excellent value for money.

Unfortunately they are of poor quality, the crome surface was scratched. The seller was quick to respond and arranged a refund.,

Bonitos y de muy buena calidad. Aunque tuve que pintarlos por estética del conjunto, los embellecedores era preciosos y muy bien acabados.

Malheureusement ces embouts ne correspondent pas du tout au diamètre intérieur de 50 mm. Elles ont 45 mm de diamètre intérieur. Comme je les ai ouvert je ne les renverrai plus. À l'avenir je ne ferais plus de commande chez ce détaillant. Je pense que ce commentaire n'intéressera personne je saurais à quoi m'en tenir.
