I'm in love with this painting! It's exactly as pictured and is truly so pretty.

The Peacemakers is one of my favorite paintings. It captures such an amazing moment during the war, the only three way meeting between General Sherman, General Grant and President Lincoln. Between the four men are two Generals of the Army (Grant who would be followed in that position by Sherman), two Presidents of the United states (Lincoln who would be followed by Grant), and of course Admiral Porter, a man who would become the second US Navy Admiral. The rainbow seen in the window was to reflect the coming peace. It is a painting I can appreciate for a good amount of time.So I was happy to find this canvas print for a good price. I was a little worried because canvas prints can be hit or miss, but I shouldn't have been. This one is very well done, the frame is strong and even. The print itself is good, clean lines and good colors. It was well mounted on the frame, even and with the perfect amount of tension to keep it looking great without being over stretched. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who is after this wonderful, historical print for themselves or as a gift to someone else.

The print quality is truly great, BUT please note that the canvas measurements are NOT accurate. I bought a 24x36 Birth of Venus to put it in a 24x36 antique gold frame which I got from Hobby Lobby, and I was fearing IT DID NOT FIT. The canvas was also way too thick/deep. I had to take it to a local custom framing store and spend an extra $80 for just putting the print on a different stretcher to fit it in my Hobby Lobby frame. And yes, it is the canvas which was inaccurate not the frame.

I needed a nice bedroom painting to pair with my new Boho quilt. I love not only the subject of the painting, but also the way the colors and style of the quilt, pillows and the painting compliment each other. This picture was easy to hang. I also bought the tin leaves on each side of the painting on Amazon to add a little complimentary pop to the wall. Shipping was fast and product was well packaged. It is a recommend from me.
