Chef Buddy Set of 2 Ice Trays with Lids, 14 Cubes, Multicolor

This is a VERY GOOD PRODUCT but it’s a little difficult to TOTALLY fill the tray through water hole 🕳 on the tray so I open the lid to fill it! The lid seems to only fit one way to make sure the water doesn’t spill!! But OVERALL I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

The color and design or the ice tray is great.

These are very easy to use (filling and emptying) but you have to be careful not to over fill it or it will leak carrying them from sink to freezer, even with the lid on. My only negative comment is that the cubes are really small, so you need more of them, and so requires refilling quite often. I bought 4 (that’s all my small freezer can hold) but if you have more space, you’ll probably need a few more.These are easy to empty, especially if you have arthritic hands like I do.

The ice cube trays were different from previous ones ordered. The lids do not fit correctly and it is a chore to stretch them -needless to say , there are many spills in the process. Thought they would work better with time - not the case

I had purchased ice trays that looked similar which I absolutely loved ( ChefLand Easy Release No Spill Ice Cube Tray with Removable Cover, White, Set of 2 ). When I wanted to buy more, the ChefLand ice trays were unavailable so I decided to try these Chef Buddy ice trays. These Chef Buddy ice trays are designed just like the ChefLand ice trays and they looked just like them (except color) so I thought they'd be the same. Boy was I wrong!When I first received these Chef Buddy ice trays, I immediately noticed the top of the lids had a large bulge. This bulge was present in both lids so it appears that is how they're made. Next, I noticed that the trays themselves were warped. When I tried to use them, the lids were extremely hard to put on. It seemed as if the lids were too small for the trays. Then when I used them for ice, I was shocked to find both trays had become very warped! On the good side, the ice came out easily.Pros:* Ice comes out easilyCons:* Warped trays* Warped lids* Lids extremely hard to put on trays (as if lids were too small and had to be stretched to go on)* Entire set becomes very warped in the freezerI had really wanted to like these ice trays like I had liked the ChefLand trays I had bought earlier, but I discovered the hard way that appearances can be deceiving. These Chef Buddy trays may look like the ChefLand trays, they may be designed like ChefLand trays, and they may even have similar brand names, but these Chef Buddy trays are nothing like the ChefLand trays when it comes to quality. Fortunately, the ChefLand trays have become available again so I ordered 3 more sets of them so I will have plenty anytime I want. I'm looking forward to throwing these Chef Buddy ice trays in the trash.

These are really good ice trays. The ice comes out in cubes every time. That's more than I can say for another brand of covered ice trays I purchased. Plus the price on these is excellent. It's convenient to see how full the trays are. The water will leak out if you don't hold them fairly flat, but that's an easy fix. Well worth getting whole ice cubes instead of a bunch of broken chunks.

My first set of these trays were awesome, until my husband decided to take a knife to the frozen cubes to break them free, and instead he stabbed right through the plastic. So because I use these to freeze all of the foods I make for my baby, I needed a second set fast and literally got them 2 days later thanks to Amazon Prime (love that service). Needless to say, my husband no longer uses a knife on them, and actually, because of how the lid curves the tray when you shut it, it makes it easy to bend the tray against the counter to loosen the frozen cubes. Now I'm buying my 3rd set of trays because I need to be able to freeze more than 2 trays worth of food at a time, and the lids on these trays work perfectly to keep the freezer burn out!!!!! The other ice cube trays where the lid slides on work like garbage and all the freezer burn sets in, FYI.

Easy to fill. The lids are not watertight, but help keep me from making a huge mess when i put them in the freezer. The lids allow stacking and keep the ice protected. The ice breaks out really easily without needing to let the trays sit out to thaw (as long as i don’t overfill the trays, that is).
