These are really good for quickly attaching your bite alarms to rod pods.I don't leave my alarms attached to the buzz bars so being able to put them on quickly is a bonus.You just pop the alarm into the base and tighten the screw. This seems to grip securely enough, even with cold fingers and makes setup and take down easier

Does the job decent price

These are good if, like me, you don't leave your alarms screwed permanently to your buzz bars. They have an advantage over the click-in type of quick change adapter in that they are much shorter.

These little quick release screws are an absolute must for bite alarms. Makes setup and packing up much easier/quicker. They live on my gear.Being picky the thumbscrews could come loose but if you’re careful with your rods this isn’t an issue. Worst case the bitealarm would rotate a bit. No big deal.

The female threads on the part that screws onto the bite alarm etc is undersized, probably due to insufficient allowance before anodising. Had to run a 3/8" bsf tap through before they would fit properly. Would also benefit from a delrin insert on the end of the locking screws to prevent damaging the coating on the inserts. Made to a budget price and functional but not a well made product.
