Love these pens

I am always looking for a waterproof pen for doodling and watercolours. This was on 140 lb cold press Arches paper. This product wrote rather rough in the paper. I prefer a nice smooth writing experience. After waiting about 3-5 mins, there was some smearing and lifting. The photo was taken when it was dry. I would not use these with watercolours. They are OK just as a doodle pen but they will smudge if you accidentally touch the ink when writing.

They aren’t 100% waterproof but as you can see in the photo, on watercolor paper, you’ll have to wait a certain time before adding water on it. I tried 30 minutes after and another time 2 hours. Let it dry longer , as for all the archival ink fineliners on paper that absorb a lot of water; it’s better wait for a while. For me, it could works if I don’t intend to sell the work but just not the bigger marker. I can’t talk about the durability of the markers as I received them this week.

Just received them today and so far I like them, the ink is nice and darkEdit: after using them for a month I want to report that they are not waterproof and also not smudge proof, takes a bit of time to dry. I tried erasing the pencil after tracing over with ink pen right after and it smudged, will change from 5 to 3 stars

Compré estos rotuladores para hacer dibujo de tatuaje tradicional con acuarelas pero no sirven para eso.Los rotuladores en un principio parece que están bien, viene una gama muy variada de tamaños, con lo que es un pack bastante versatil, pero el problema vino al pintar con acuarela por encima de ellos, que a pesar de que dice que son waterproof o resistentes al agua, no lo son, y al pasar con un pincel por encima de las lineas se emborrona y se lleva la tinta.No los recomiendo para este uso ni si le vas a echar agua, con rotuladores de alcohol no creo que pase nada pero bueno, no se si arriesgaría. Yo los devuelvo.
