I bought this as a gift for my daughters birthday, and I was afraid that the pieces would be lightweight, low quality material. When I opened the box I found they are actually very solid, authentic feeling pieces. They are beautifully crafted, I would recommend this product for sure.

Using for art projects

This item was a Birthday gift for my son. As Covid has left him out of work and on oxygen the rest of his life he was wanting something he would be able to do. He absolutely loves it and he does practice writing with it. He thought this gift was perfect and was very happy receiving it. He has a good attitude and loves learning this very old way of romantic writing. I couldn't have purchased a better gift for him than this one.

I wanted a fun gift for my husband who has a large fountain pen collection. He had a lot of fun with his feather pen and claims the nib worked, even though he is left handed. He has already sent off a letter with the interesting wax stamp. We also found out from YouTube how to fold the paper so no envelope is needed. A little warning. The wax spoon handle gets immediately hot. I burned my fingers, recommend a glove or a cloth.
