BlumCompact Blumotion 38N (New Bmn) Hinge & Plate, For 5/8" Overlay, Wraparound, Screw-On, 10-Pack

Bought these hinges to replace old Grass hinges, the old hinges had screw mount with dowels that were set closer to the edge of cabinet door, so I had to drill new holes. They work great. I did not use the screws and dowels that came with the hinge, instead l used #6x3/4” wood screws. To install the new hinge I used a small square and a self centering drill bit. (left the old dowels in the Cabinet doors). If you need cabinet door restrictors now is the time to install them! The soft close hinge works great and I think is better than the self close hinge (which slams the door closed).

This hinge is adjustable to open less than 90 degress with a restrictor. Good if door opens to wall at a little more than 90 degress. Easy to open, in that there is no significant let off. 3 holes from original hinge lined up and could be reused.

Once I figured out that a 5/8" hinge needs to be replaced with only a 5/8" hinge, this replacement went smooth and I love the soft close feature. Great value.

Perfect replacement fit, no need to shim or drill out existing holes.The soft close mechanism is strong enough that I only needed to use one (1) on smaller cabinet doors.Has an on/off switch. Don't know why you would, but you can turn them off.Finish is bright chrome(ish). A good match for my existing hinges.

It was hard to find 5/8th overlay hinges that would work for my application. Most are 1/2 or 3/4. These worked well and my wife likes that the cabinet doors have soft close now. You only need one of these hinges per door for soft close. I did have to drill new holes for the attachment points on the doors, but otherwise they worked great.

Sturdy and they work great! Quiet, self cloasing hinges at the best price I could find. I thought they would be like pop in dowels instead of screws but no they were screw in. Not a push in

I have been buying less expensive hinge brands with good luck. I saw Blum hinges at what seemed a reasonable price. So I paid the extra to get Blum. The hinges appear to be real Blum hinges. My issue with the purchase is there are no mounting screws. The plastic bag contains hinges only.
