Q: what color is the hardware?

I ordered the color "brown" and the hardware is goldtone. Saying brown doesn't do it justice, it has variations in the color that really enhance the look. Goldtone of the hardware adds to the look. Not sure of the other colors,but it should be in the descriptions.

Q: I'm looking for a small purse that will carry mace, small handgun and dog treats for walking my dog....would this be overkill??

I think it would work. The center could hold a small weapon. My center holds a wallet and phone and more with no problem. Outer pockets smaller, but hold some small things. You could clip mace to hang on on strap ring making it more assessable.

Q: Is this bag waterproof?
