Q: screen got mashed the first time i used it where do you send to repair and is it worth it?

No , I wouldn’t repair it , I’d replace it, Eve the battery replacement is too difficult.

Q: Are batteries included ?

Yes. It is a rechargeable unit with the battery sealed inside. We play 5 eighteen hole rounds most weeks so we find the unit only lasts about 12 to 18 months before it no longer works for the full 18 holes.

Q: Does this actually work ? I know support will be lacking, so i wanted to be sure it worked. ?Can you see yardage also, some are bothered by sounds?

YES. I love my golf buddy. They do wear out after several years if you don't lose it first. It is a quick way to see how far from the pin you are. My husband uses his to see how far his drive went, etc. They do work.
