great figure
The details on the figure are really well done; however, this is a decorative figure NOT a toy, thus it has limited motions, if you want something to play with do yourself a favor and buy something else. One of the small figure is designed to stood underneath Spawn, thus it doesn't stand up by itself; second, 2 fingers are movable, but their joints are very small, so if you plan to move them, press the knuckle and very slowly move the finger, if you manipulate the hand don't do it by holding the fingers (they'll break!) The cape looks a bit off that's due to the assumption of "wind" flow (bit of true physics in fiction doesn't hurt)

Speaks for itself
I still have no idea why those Mcfarlane toys are so cheap but super in details and articulation. This figure is awesome ! you can't deny how much details these guys put into their figures !The cape is removable and those little minions can be moved around but you have to use the support of the big guy so they don't fall over.

another awesome add to the collection, but beware.
I ordered this item as my early xmas gift. I was excited to get it delivered to the house and finally check it out. I looked at the little figures first, which are definately cool... although one (with the meat cleaver) wouldn't stand on it's own, even after much bending/manipulation.I tired of those attempts and moved onto the Spawn which, as always, had excellent detail. I took off the cape, checked out the bionic arm (with actual spinning blade) and thought, "This is one of the coolest of McFarlane's yet"... but I thought too soon. This figure is cool but as I was moving the other arm (with the hand), Spawn spontaneously lost his thumb. As I rotated the hand to it's original position, Spawn lost another finger. The figure is cool but it paid a price in the manufacturing process, losing some quality. Aside from a cape not fitting or stances being a little off-center, this is the first time I've had a major defect with a figure from the Spawn collection. If you plan on keeping this item in the package, it's a great buy. If you plan on using it, playing with it or giving it to kids, I'd recommend keeping a close eye on the digits.

The Curse could be cursed!!
This is one of my favorite figures but he is delicate, so watch how you handle him. If something doesn't move or it's seems stiff leave it be or you could damage it. Oh it's always good to have super glue on stand by.

Man, That "Tony Twist" lawsuit must be hurting 'em.
I have always liked the Spawn figures from McFarlane toys because of the righteous detail that give their figures, but seriously, what do they cast these things from, Marzipan? The detail is, as always, awesome, but it doesn't matter, because I snapped peices off of it taking it out of the box. This is not the first time I've had a Mc Farlane figure come apart on me, either. What's the point of putting seven bazillion points of articulation on a figure if you're scared to move them because you don't know which one of them is inevitably going to snap off? I honestly have a Dark Ages Spawn figure that fell over from a standing postion, and the ARM snapped off FROM THE FIGURE'S OWN WEIGHT.

I couldn't help it...
I don't even own any Spawn figures, but when I saw this guy, I had to buy him. He just looks so cool! One of the best villain action figures I have ever seen! But upon manipulating him just a little bit, the thumb and finger of his usable hand came off. I had to glue them back on. So thumbs down for that. Plus, his little friends don't stand up too well on their own, you have to position them up against the figure itself as depicted in the cover art. He's still one of the better looking figures that have come out in some time. I'm just afraid to touch him!
