This book is amazing!!

If you plan to purchase for younger school aged children, be ready to help and enjoy it with them.

I just felt like the activities were either too simple or too hard. For example, one page had six animals and you drew three lines to connect them. Then there's the fact that it is too gorgeous to write in...

Beautiful graphics ! One problem: the arrows on the food chain plate are incorrectly placed. They should be reversed. They should be to the eater( predator). Teach them the correct way parent! Amazon please let the author know the error.

We bought this book to use in Science class for homeschooling, and I think it is better suited to kids age 10-teen. The "complete the other half of the drawing" activities are pretty intimidating to younger kids, unless they are so young (5-6) that they don't yet care about realism in their drawings. "Spot the differences" isn't really a science type of activity, but I do like the ones where you label the drawing (body parts, usually) and the ones where your kids can colour in the black-and-white drawing. So at least half of the book is very good and educational!
