Mi Reflejo

Not too many monolingual English speaking members of the general public are aware of this collection Christina released in late 2000 but it is quite the gem. As a mix of both new and old Spanish-language tracks, certain critics at the time gave it less than stellar reviews but as said time progressed (and Christina went on to receive several awards and platinum plaques for the record), “Mi Reflejo” proved itself to be in a class of its own. Warm, rich, mature yet youthful and filled to the brim with gorgeous vocals and melodies, this might be Christina at her absolute (and underrated) best!

This is a great album!! I love the Spanish versions of her singles of her first album. They did a great job with the Spanish lyrics and since the songs weren't exactly translated, it makes you feel like you're listening to a whole nother song!! I also adored the new songs, "Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti", (10/10) "Si No Te Hubiera Conocido" (10/10, and Luis Fonsi's voice makes it even better) Christina's rendition of the world-famous "Contigo En La Distancia", (10/10) and "Cuando No Es Contigo". I can't wait for Christina's next Spanish-language album. I love the passion that she does this with. Definitely embraces her Latina roots, and that makes me proud as a Latina.

I had this CD from the library and decided to add the songs1, 3, 4, 6 (clearly the best), 9, 10, 11, to my lossless digital collection.I don't understand Spanish and it sounds to me more romantic thanEnglish could (none can beat Italian though). Ms. Aguilera has a very goodvoice with intensity (which, I feel, lacks from the excellent vocalistsMaria Carey and Whitney Houston) and I clearly prefer this CD overher "Stripped".

Awesome spanish album from Christina Aguilera

I have always been and always will be a Christina Aguilera fan, she has yet to make a bad album this album is amazing, I love the emotion and power of her voice. In Spanish she sounds great. I only hope that she will again venture into making a 2ND Spanish album sometime.

I'm a big fan of Christina's voice, she is an amazing singer and I was very interested in her latin album. It's one of the best cause every song is really god and you can enjoy this album from first to last one song.

El disco es maravilloso en todos sentidos. Es muy lindo y me genera mucha nostalgia, prácticamente es mi adolescencia, le tengo mucho cariño.

Era para hacer un tegalo y ha encantado. Perfecto!

Primo disco di Christina Aguilera cantato completamente in spagnolo, lingua a lei molto cara considerate le sue origini latine, registrato e pubblicato nel 2000 quando Christina ha soltanto 19 anni. Ha riscosso ottimo successo soprattutto nei paesi ispanici e America Latina, contiene 11 canzoni più 4 bonus tracks presenti solo in questa edizione. Adoro la vocalità di Christina: potenza, grinta e passione sono caratteristiche che troviamo in queste canzoni. Tra le mie preferite cito "Mi Reflejo", versione spagnola di "Reflection" (colonna sonora del film d'animazione "Mulan"), e le latin ballads "El Beso Del Final" e "Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti". Aggiungo che è un disco molto difficile da trovare nei negozi di dischi italiani, e il fatto che Amazon lo renda disponibile ad un buon prezzo è un'ottima cosa e invita maggiormente ad acquistarlo. Spedito nel suo imballaggio originale, sigillato col cellophane.
