Solar Fence Lights, LOHAS Garden Lights Solar Powered, Security Lights Outdoor 6000K Day Light, IP65 Waterproof and Automatically On/Off, Wall Light for Pathway Patio Hallway, 8 Pack

I bought a pack of 4 in the spring and found them to be reasonable. They hold a charge which lit up for most of the night, even in the recent autumn months. One of the 3 failed recently. I opened up to find 3 No AAA rechargable solar light batteries, which I were able to test (they were fine), but could not get the unit to work. These batteries can of course be readily replaced if need be, which provides a bit of future proofing.So I bought a new set to act as a replacement/spares. However, the new lamp lit up for a little over an hour then went out, and I was again faced just 3 working lamps. Having just opened up I find that they now contain a small, square lithium battery stuck into the AAA battery port. They may technically still work, but it looks like you're not going to get light for very long, at least in comparison to before. I will try another and see if this is a consistent issue.EDIT: The original batteries were rated for 1800 mAh storage charge between them. The new lithium batteries are rated 150mAh, less than 10% of original. Which explains them not lasting long after it gets dark.Product description says 1000 mAh, which might well be ok if that was actually the case. I've had to return and would caution purchase until this issue is resolved.UPDATE JAN 2021. I see battery capacity has been removed from the product description. However, the product description still falsely states "8 Hours Light" which, whilst reasonably accurate for the older versions, is not physically possible with the tiny 150mAh battery. I have no idea why Amazon still allows this product to be sold as is.

Super easy to install. Takes a matter of minutes to put 8 of them up on my garden fence. They’re extremely bright however not so bright it’s blinding, they don’t have a super wide spread the light sort of just illuminates what is below them. Had them in over a week in the rain and sunshine and perform really well with no issues yet. Last until the early hours of the morning.

Two of the 4 held their charge just 20 minutes. The other two latest about an hour. I popped the batteries out and tested them on a multimeter and they all showed 1.49v and the smart charger indicated they had been detained just 100mah of their 750mah capacity. Bit useless when the lights go out if they drop below 80% charge!I tested Amazon batteries in then with the same result and I tested the included batteries in other devices and they worked fine. I guess the low voltage shut off is incorrectly set on the lights?

We put these on our 3ft high approx fence posts and they work very well. We now have an airport landing strip (in a miniature way) down the front drive. Think we put up 7 so we bought a couple of packs. They look good and are brighter and whiter than the half round ones we had before. They are quite discreet and non protruding. They don't light the floor just act as a guide. When you look from a short distance they look fairly white with a hint of blue, not as blue as other you see around. Easy to fit for us.

Out of all the solar lights weve bought These have been the most reliable as they just work well and you get light from them all night too as long as they get full daytime exposure to charge up. Can't fault them great buy and will but again too and I know these will actually last unlike others

These lights arrived quickly and are very neat in appearance, easy to install and bright, unfortunately the batteries, non replaceable, aren't up to the job, the lights only stay on for about 30mins which makes them pointless. The claim by the seller that these lights will remain illuminated for up to 8hrs is clearly fanciful. I opened one up and the battery is AA size so I may try soldering in a bigger capacity battery to see if this improves things.Update; now our days are lengthening the lights are much happier. I suspect the solar panels are older technology as they really don't charge much in cloudy or overcast conditions. After a sunny day they stay on for several hours but I wouldn't recommend these if you need the illumination for safety purposes.

Three out of the eight of these LED solar lights I bought did not work. Of the 5 that did work, I quickly discovered, because these LED lights are 'always on', that there is simply not enough sunny daylight hours in the UK to charge them fully. This means that in winter time, you will be lucky to get 10-20mins of light from these. I had naively assumed these lights were 'motion activated' so 10-20mins of light could be fine for a whole night if they only came on when motion was detected, but they aren't motion activated. As soon as dusk falls, the 10-20mins of charge is used up. And the placement off the on/off switch on the back of the light, means that when you've screwed it go the wall/fence, it's basically on the whole time and with only 10-20mins of charged which gets used up even before night has fully fallen, it means these LED lights are completely useless. And they are powered by a sealed battery/capacitor - so you can't remove or replace it.

I am a fan of these solar fence lights so far.It is a simple device that has saved me wiring up outside lighting on my drive. The lights feel robust and built to last, which is further emphasised by the 1 year warranty provided with the product.Installation was fairly simple and screws and plugs were provided to mount the device. I fitted this on my drive entrance to make it easier to drive onto my drive without damaging your vehicle.The LED light isn't the most powerful of lights but rather a subtle mood light and will light up a small area. You cannot select different modes on this light so this will permantely stay on in the dark. It will automatically switch off during the day to save power.Overall  pleased with this product and the ease of use and installation.
