5 lovely stars :)
Before picking up this novel I was looking for my next audiobook... I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for, so I was just scrolling through my Audible library, until this book caught my eye :) I'm not sure why, because it was the first book I read by this particular author, but something made me pick it up... and after only a chapter or so I knew I made a really good decision ;) I had such a blast listening to this audiobook, but before I get into all the reasons why... and why you all should read this book if you haven't yet ;) let me tell you first some more what it's all about :)Imagine being in Blue's situation... :) he arrives at his sister's wedding week... a few months after a hard break up he's still not totally back into his groove... and of course who's there if not his ex, a friend of the family... yeah... not only that, he has his new boyfriend with him... talk about awkward... :) so what Blue can do? with a help of a very generous stranger, he makes him jealous, showing how well he's doing without said ex and sort of faking a new relationship... :) turns out that not only this stranger is not as straight as people might think about him, he's also not only a total stranger after all... because it turns out that Tristan is the owner of the vinyard where the wedding week takes place... and is also a brother of the groom ;) yep :) so imagine all the reactions when this new relationship situation is revealed to the families... ;) what happens next is a whirlwind of a romance over the span of about the week, but that's all the details I can share without spoiling you some lovely surprises, so let's just get into all the reasons why I adored this novel so much and why you all need to read it as soon as possible :)As I mentioned before, this was my very first book by this author, but I immediately fell in love with her writing style... it was hilarious and entertaining, I was completely hooked into the story from the start... which is even more impressing when you take into consideration fact that this is a debut novel :) I know, I was surprised as well ;) because the writing is so engaging you can't put the book down and just turn page after page to see what's gonna happen :) this is the first story in a series, where each installment will be centered around a different couple, so no cliffhangers or anything in individual stories, but after meeting Blue's siblings... cause the series is centered around them :) I can guarantee you will be curious about them all... and I do mean ALL of them :) which is saying something, cause they are quite a big bunch ;) the whole Marian family was such a bright part of this book :) but let's get to our main couple now... ;) since the majority of this book takes place over the span of about a week, it was definitely a pretty intense sort of romance... don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them... I just usually prefer the slow burn ones... which is why I was so surprised by how much I loved everything about Blue and Tristan, and how quickly they became important to one another ;) I adored them individually and as a couple and had so much fun reading how they get closer and closer to each other... this book was full of hilarous moments, as well as steamy ones... and let's not forget about all the emotional and sweet ones as well :) the main couple was fantastic and the secondary characters were diverse and so interesting that you will want to read all of their stories immediately :) fortunately a lot of them are already available, and you can bet that I will continue on with this series very soon ;) and as much as I generally recommend you to read this book in whatever format you prefer, if I can make a suggestion... you should listen to it as an audiobook :) the narrator is... I have no words good enough to describe him :) he did very distinctive voices not only for our main characters, but for the secondary ones as well... his performance only added awesomeness to the over all amazingness of this story :) was this book believable? not really... ;) did the ending felt a bit rushed? maybe a little bit... ;) were some things exaggerated or seemed to come out of nowhere? a little bit :) but did any of these things take away from my enjoyment of the story or annoyed me at any point? not at all :) I had such a great time listening to this one, which is always such a great surprise :) I'm happy to discover a new author I will definitely keep my eye out on and I hope I convinced you to give her a try ;)

Insta-love goodness with a predictable (but sweet) ending
This book has been sitting in my Kindle library for MONTHS and I can’t tell you why it took me until now to finally read it. Blue and Tristan’s relationship was so easy and adorable that I didn’t want it to end!Bartholomew (Blue) Marian is recovering from a bad breakup but has to attend his sister’s wedding where he’ll inevitably run into his ex. Blue is adorable with freckles and strawberry-blond hair but he’s insecure about everything after his breakup. He’s a graphic designer and just got a promotion that’s based in London so after his sister’s vineyard wedding, he’s off to start over. But his real passion is in sculpting, something he left behind thanks to his ex. Blue is one of nine Marian kids and they’re all close and supportive of each other, something that shows while they’re prepping for Simone’s wedding.Tristan Alexander is a former corporate lawyer who left it all behind to take over ownership of his uncle’s vineyard with his sidekick dog Piper at his side. While he’s happy with his new career and the freedom it gives him, there’s something missing in his life. He was married to a woman for years, but after catching her cheating, they divorced. He’s always been attracted to men, but an experience in college left him hesitant to act on that attraction. He’s not very close with his family, but when his brother is getting married at his vineyard, they all come together and are surprised (and some of them horrified) by Tristan’s new romantic interest. These two meet at the bar at Tristan’s vineyard and quickly fall into easy conversation to make Blue’s ex jealous. While I’m not usually a fan of insta-love stories, I think this one worked - they clearly had a connection and chemistry and both continued to grow the more time they spent together. They went from zero to 100 really fast but still took the time to really get to know each other and figure out ways to make their relationship work despite the odds stacked against them. The last 75% was sweet but predictable, but I enjoyed these two together so much that I didn’t really care. The Marian family is big and tons of fun and I’m excited to read more of the stories in the Made Marian series to see what they get up to and for more glimpses into Blue and Tristan’s HEA.

I kissed a boy and i liked it!
Awwwww *Heart Eyes* i just love this series. I'm writing this on a re-read and i loved it this time even more than the first!I just fell in love with these two. I can't say i liked one more than the other because i just loved them.Blue is so sweet and charming and extremely funny. His humour appealed to me massively. No wonder a kinda straight guy turned for him. He's just gorgeous!Tristan is equally as wonderful. I loved how he just went with his feelings. It felt good so he did it. He liked Blue so he did everything he could to get him. So hot and sexy. Yum.I loved the storyline. Nothing too heavy but plenty to keep you entertained. Fantastic side splitting humour. Crazy ex's. Homophobic family members. Hilarious siblings. Crazy impulsive soul searing love. And hot hot hot come to mama bedroom antics!Blue's family are just brilliant! Love em all! Special mention for Granny, Aunt Tilly and Irene though. Those girls are a hoot! It's mad because although this is a re-read through i'm excited for Jamies book and i know what happens! LolCan't recommend this series high enough! The author has a wonderful way with words that will have you yearning to become a Marian family member.

An excellent first book by a new author
I discovered Lucy's writing in a freebie giveaway - that book was a short story about Keller (Tristan's right-hand man at the vineyard) and I enjoyed it enough that I was happy to pay to read her first novel. (I am always reluctant to spend a moderate amount of money on a book that may not be very long, by a new author that I might end up not liking. But that's just me - I like getting value for money.)For a first novel, I think it is excellent. I love both the main characters and their insecurities and baggage. I found them both loveable and although you know that everything is going to turn out well in the end, the angst in the storyline doesn't come in the way that you would maybe expect. Some of the secondary characters are an absolute hoot! I had already encountered Aunt Tilly, Granny and Irene and loved the things they said, so I was glad to see they had the same un-filtered dialogue in this book. Lucy sets the scene for the next couple of books (starring Jamie and Jude) and I'm going to settle in and get started on those very soon.I like Lucy's writing style, this book is written in a dual first person point of view, and it works well. I find her writing style similar to that of authors like Elle Kennedy, Sarina Bowen, MQ Barber and Lexxie Couper, and I love all of the books written by those authors. I am happy to say I've discovered Lucy and I will be happy to read her current as well as future releases, especially if they are as entertaining and well written as this was.

Crazed families, lot of sex, angst and humour.
Some stress from several different characters and situations, manic sex for a week before a forced break, several very funny moments. There was enough plot to make it longer, some parts weren’t explored as much as they deserved. Fun read.

Good read
This was love at first kiss. Blue was at attending his sister's wedding.Still recovering from a 3 year relationship.Enter Tristan who notices Blue and strikes up a conversation. Their meeting was good and relaxed enjoying each other's company.Enter Blue's ex and new boyfriendTristan did not want to see the hurt on Tristan's face so he kissed him.Bam the connection was not pretend but real feelings started happening. Some family and ex drama they had to work through to get their HEA.This was a funny easy read that you will enjoy.

An absolutely beautiful story
This is the first book I've read from this author and I can't believe I didn't read one of her books sooner!I absolutely love the Marian family, they're hilariously crazy. And of course Granny and her wife - I'm happy there was no "gumming". But Aunt Tilly was my favourite!!The epilogue was brilliant, my heart melted at how beautiful it was.I would recommend this book to anyone who's looking for a few laughs, maybe tear-up a little, realistic characters and a beautiful story of two men falling in love.
