No adverse effects whatsoever. Honokiol metabolizes to GABA and is more effective than taking a GABA supplement directly. For additional benefit, add lemon balm.Advanced Bionutritionals has a more robust formula, but it is expensive, and I don’t like talking melatonin, which is in that formula.

After using this 1x/day for a week, I can say I feel a difference in overall stress levels. Never had heard of Magnolia Bark Extract before but if you take other supplements to relax (Melatonin, L-Theanine, etc) then this product is relevant to that type of routine.Besides reducing stress and anxiety, Magnolia bark also supposedly benefits oral heath as well which is not a bad secondary effect. I look forward to continuing taking this product and hope to see more/stronger cumulative effects.
