This snake worked like a charm, it made my job much easier fishing wire behind the wall.

It does what it’s intended to do but it is a little difficult unrolling and reeling it back in. The cable type is so much smoother and easy to pull wire long distances but they are way more expensive. For what I needed this thing did it’s job and saved a lot of money. It’s hard to tell in the pic but it’s not very large at all. This was fine for me as it fit in my electrical bag nicely.

Great fish tape, have used them at work for the last 8 years, they are very good. The laser etched ones are awesome for determining exact wire length needed!

The holder works nice to move the snake in and out but this snake is not like the blue-steeled snake i've used in the past. Its not very stiff and my coworker jokes he can bend a hook on it with his fingers. Of course that an exaggeration but you get the point.

I bought this to replace one that I borrowed from a friend and then broke. The first one broke when I tried to reel in the tape and it got jammed. I couldn't unjam it for the life in me. I carefully opened up the case and continued to try to unjam the tape. No dice. Finally, I decided I would try to carefully unwind the whole tape while I had the case open. I made one mistake and the whole thing ended up in a pile of twisted metal. I threw the whole thing in the trash and ordered a replacement... The replacement got the job done anyway.

Good product. Not perfect, but good (better than the Harbor Freight it replaced).
