I have lower back scoliosis, I can never find any products that will help with the pain below my hip line. So far I've used it a couple of times now that the cold is coming back and triggering my muscles to tighten up. The controls are easy to figure out, but I can understand if you have low dexterity it might be difficult to hold the button, its flush with the pad and has no firm place to hold it down.The heat is even and even wearing a thick sweater its not uncomfortable or makes me sweat like traditional heating pads. I'm a short and small person so this fits from my shoulders to my hips, it's the perfect size for me (the largest) the material so far is breathable but I recommend basic heating pad safety, no bare skin, breathable materials.If you are in a dim space the button goes bright but slightly dims so it's easy to see if the pad is still on. If you have any low vision or no vision it might be different becuse I could be hard to find. I always recommend keeping the pad near an accessible port to unplug.So far this has been the best purchase for me.TL;DR:-material is breathable, keep heating pad safety. No bare skin-slight accessibility issue with button, no firm way to hold and press. But flexible to pinch. Hold for 2-3 seconds.-power light might be an issue with low vision/no vision. Keep accessible port if concerned.

This works really well for my rib injury. I tried some different creams, foams etc, but this consistently made my ribs feel better. I like the size & quality of it. The pad turns on easily, it heats up within maybe 15-20secs, and it can be adjusted according to your needs. Overall, a good solid product. after using it consistently over a month nowI read some of the poor reviews before buying but I have had a great experience with the Venture infrared pad.

This is a great FIR heating pad for anyone that suffers from pain, whether it is chronic like mine or just for those times when you've overdone something (exercise or yard work, etc.). For tight muscles, muscle spasms.It is very soft, thin and flexible. It provides a deep, penetrating warmth that helps improve your circulation and is a daily necessity for me to help keep my pain level lessened.It is great on your back, legs, wrapped up around your arms.Great for arthritis, or for kids with growing pains. So many uses.There were two different times that I needed assistance, and I was given excellent, timely customer service both times.The most recent time, Leslie helped me out. She went out of her way to ensure I was helped & I really appreciate it as I depend on several FIR heating pads daily to ease my pain.This is a great product and a great company. Can not recommend enough. I even sent one to a family member who suffers from back pain and she loves hers, too.Note:If you are only used to standard heating pads, this one may not feel to the touch - with your hands - like it gets hot enough or as hot as the standard ones do. However, FIR heat is different and while a standard pad just heats the surface of your skin (and I've burned myself with one), this heat is different and - it just goes into your muscles it seems and provides a wonderful kind of warmth that is completely different than a standard heating pad.

The heating pad arrived and the return date was April 19. On 5/14, the pad overheated, became very hot…the control button no longer worked, it would not light and it would not depress…The overheating was critical, it almost burned my pillow. I’ve purchased MANY of these over the last 10 years…(hundreds of dollars, never under warranty, so you’re out of luck) they tend not to last as long as you would think they should, it’s usually a problem with the heat control button no longer working. I like the IR heat aspect and other thing s so I kept buying them. But I’ve never had one that overheated like this!..dangerous!I will be contacting the seller re: a refund, replacement, whatever… it’s only been less than a month that I could have returned it, so haven’t had it long. I ALWAYS use the pad as suggested in the provided materials…it still overheated.

It is easy to use and easy to store. I tried the tourmaline pads but the stones seeme to irritate multiple muscles and nerve groups even when I padded the mats. This is slim. You cannot feel any of the wires or carbon fiber filaments. It does help with my pain. I am using it to manage shoulder, hip and back pain and bilateral sciatica. You can lay on it or wrap it over the affected body part. I wish that the temperature got hotter and the timer lasted longer. The hour includes the cycle to warm up and cool down. At the highest setting it gradually starts to cool down before the hour. You can easily reset the temperature/timer which I have done a few times without any issue. This is not my first venture product. I am happy with their performance and they do seem to last a long time. If the temperature cycle would last longer or get hotter I would give this 5 stars.

A personal trainer introduced me to this terrific heating pad for pain relief. And it works great. The nice thing is you can lay on it for hours if needed. It’s easy to use and the lights tell you what the level is from low to high. It’s a gentle heat. Infrared is very healing and great for the body. I’m getting ready for a hip replacement and until surgery the pain is increasing. this is helping me at the end of the day when I’m tired and hurting to relax and get a good nights sleep. Great for after working out too when your muscles are sore and tired.

I have a bad back from a 7 car pile up as a senior in high school and years of laborious jobs to pay the bills. I've used heating pads for over 20 years and this is the best by far. It has 3 settings of heat and that's all you need. It has 10 hr timer too which you hardly find far and wide. Buy it and from the first night you will feel resurrected from death to life!
