Fast Enough to run any new titles at 1080p, NVME 1tb drive
When I purchased this model, I wasn't sure if i wanted to opt for the I7 model, but this I5-10500H does everything with ease. I don't think the I7 will net any real world performance gains over this I5. CSGO with maxed settings nets 250+ fps, Escape from Tarkov nets between 50-100fps depending on the map and if I'm streaming, world of tanks gets well near the 200fps range with the HD download and full settings, I can easily run my oculus from this machine as well.I was wondering when I purchased this if it would have a SATA or NVME drive, being a bit on the budget gamer side. The 1tb version of this came with an NVME drive and while not the fastest NVME drive, 2500Mbps is plenty quick enough for reads and 1500+ for writes does just fine. There is a second slot to add another NVME drive according to some reviews I've found although I have not opened this one up to confirm that.The only down side that some may find is that there is only 2 USB 3.0 type a ports, and an HDMI port but there are two USB C ports that you can also dongle from.The fans aren't quiet but aren't that loud either. They make a consistent woosh sound with any gaming or uptick in ghz from the cpu/gpu. If you're using a headset most of the time, it wont' matter. If you want it to stay quiet for work purposes, switch the power mode to balanced or power saving.The screen is fantastically matte and smooth as butter. No complaints from that.The keyboard is a steel series, and while not the most expensive option, it's decent feeling. There's a little bit of deck flex in the keyboard, but nothing surprising for a thin aluminum top.Can't go wrong with this laptop though if you're on a budget.

The best budget gaming laptop
First product reviewer ever because this one is amazing! Been playing VR with it no problem, and having an absolute blast. Recently tried out Skyrim VR and runs really well on here in medium settings. Way better than the more expensive gs65.
