Will never buy from them again.
Quality of sound is outstanding. Life time battery is great. Distance of reception and walls penetration is really good.Cheap plastic and materials though... In less than one year, consequently broke in 2 places. Leather part has started pill off leaving pieces of black materials around ears. Quality control of this manufacturer could do better than that ...

The Mic Monitoring (Side Tone) Level Is Phenomenol!
So far I have used them for a few days, I previously purchased the Kraken 7.1 v2 headset, which was great, although I really needed the wireless aspect for my VR gaming, and this headset came through in a big way! I am no "audio expert" however the headset its plenty loud and sounds very crisp I have no complains there. However were this headset really shines, aside from the wireless aspect is the mic monitoring, or side tone as its known as, very much to my suprise the side tone on this headset is PHENOMENAL! This is an important feature for me, and with all my prior headsets including the Kraken v2 the side tone was just never very loud and pretty much useless once you added the background noise of the game, which is what I expected out of this headset, but this side tone is extremely well done and plenty loud (with an available volume option in the Snynapes software), it is so loud when I have to set maxed at 100 I can hear my refrigerator humming, which is almost in-audible without the headset on unless standing directly next to the fridge. Now that may make you say "woah that is way to loud bro", which honestly was my first thoughts also, however once you throw yourself into a game and the game volume is maxed out and mixed with the mic monitoring, you will be happy the mic monitoring is amplified because you can actually hear yourself clear as day straight through the game volume, and again, there is a slider to adjust the side tone level in the software so you can turn it down if needed, also a handy mute button on the headset to turn it on/off quickly if need be.

Amazing sound and battery!
I couldn't tell that they were refurbished, they look and work like brand new! Amazing battery life and outstanding sound quality. Yes they are plastic but that does not mean cheap! They are most certainly durable and quality! Be sure to not download the latest beta 3 version of the software, browse razers download section for the legacy 2 version of their software as the latest beta is not compatible with these man o' war headphones at the time this review was written. I highly recommend these and give them a shot for your own opinion! The mic "monitor" option is the best but has to be enabled manually in the software settings. Also, the USB receiver isn't missing! It fits into the headphones for storage, just push on it and it pops out! Look at my photo to see the hole where it would normally go. They're perfect especially for the refurbished price!

Just got these today and am super impressed with the sound.
I've had Razer products in the past and been really happy with them, so when my old headset kicked the bucket and apparently is no longer manufactured, I turned to them first. I've had refurbished items before, in fact my previous headset of almost six years was one, so I wasn't worried on that end, and it being Razer I knew I shouldn't be disappointed. I'm most certainly not. The sound quality is fantastic, the noise cancelling is great, and the mic options are exceptional. Synapse surprised me with how many options it comes with, including its own equalizer and surround sound calibration. Overall it seems fantastic. The whole setup flexes, with the ear cups on hinges that move in almost any direction so they fit no matter how you wear them, even with one cup off of your ear when you need to hear other people in the room. They're also very comfortable, and since the ear cups are removable I also hope that means they're replaceable on their own. I've yet to confirm this, however. I'll have to come back at a later time and review about wear and tear, but I'm hopeful. My only criticism is personal to me. I'm a very small person, and being female I don't expect most gaming peripherals to be built for me. My last headset was a wireless PDP Afterglow designed to be universal for the xbox360/PS3 era, and it had a large tension band at the top with no adjustable ear cups that moved up and down. Most complaints about it were that it was too small or too tight. It fit me perfectly. I'm small enough I have to buy children's frames in glasses too, so you get the point. As expected, this headset is too large for me by a little. It's not bad, but I'll have to make something to go around the top band to raise it up so this headset will fit me without falling off. Again, this is a personal criticism, most people don't have tiny heads, but if you're one of those people that tends to have headsets run large on them, you may want to take that into consideration. Overall for the price I cannot at all complain, and if it lasts me half as long as my old headset I will consider it a purchase well made.

Like new but at almost half the price
I decided to return my Kraken v2 7.1 for these Man O War headset mainly because I can't stand the wired headset and also because i wasn't 100% in love with the Krakens. The Man O War headset i received look and feel brand new. They even smell new. They did come in a cardboard looking box and not the real box that they come in but for the price, i can't complain. I listened to music and played games for the past 2 hours and couldn't find a flaw on these headsets. These fit way better than the Krakens which only fit if fully extended. Sound is pretty much the same. At 99$ which is what i paid for the Kraken's... these are a steal. GET EM while theyre cheap.
