It was what we needed to install the air conditioner.

I have several window units at church that the fins got busted off over time, but the units are in well working order. I bought some less expensive replacement fins from my local hardware store, but they had limited quantities and didn't install as cleanly as these. I was able to slide the plastic channel off one side of these and slide them directly into the clips built into the widow units providing a cleaner/tighter fit. The fins that I brought prior only offered two face tape adhesive and didn't fit as cleanly. I found the hack saw the was included to trim wasn't idea for trimming. It leaves a very rough edge and is difficult to get a straight cut. I found a pair of tin snips and scissors provide a cleaner and straighter cut. I would be happier if the saw was not in the kit and the price reduced accordingly. I would prefer a rigid chanel on the top and bottom of the fins similar the the original pieces, but it still did the job.

I bought this based on the reviews stating how easy this was to use. The saw provided is flimsy. I ended up using my own saw, but the panel moved too much. After a lot of work on this, I may have finally gotten it to fit. I will find out when I put the unit in the window.

The material is good and can be cut to size we like it so far.

If you are okay with using a crappy saw that falls apart before you've even cut the first peice and then never getting this installed with the air conditioner, then this is the product for you! But not me...

The idea of this is good, however I should have just spent the extra money to buy replacements of the appropriate size. The saw that is included has two blades, and while that seems like enough, the plastic part that holds the blade was what broke when I was cutting my inserts to size. I used a box cutter and scissors to finish the job, and they served their purpose for the last few weeks of summer.

The product seems good. However this product doesn't mention that the frame you need for the side panels is conveniently left out. I did appreciate they gave you a small hand saw. Frustrated they don't give you all you need for a kit.
