Quantum Accurist PT LP Baitcast Reel

Lowest price casting real with flipping switch. I just used it on a 1 week large-mouth fishing trip and it was great. Excellent casting controls, easy to tweek the magnetic and ceramic controls. A few birds nests but I'm not a pro. I also used my brothers 3 other reels and on the fishing trip and I like this reel the best. The flipping switch was not a big deal. It's tricky to go back and forth between flipping and regular casting mentally. But that's on me not the reel. The reel was flawless. It also fit in my hand well. I guess all that is left is will it last.

I was a lil worried about receiving the wrong product, but Amazon has always taken good care of me. So I felt confident ordering. Great price for the reel, and received it in less than a week. (4 days). I haven't had it on the water yet, but it seems to function flawlessly. I own an older model of the same reel, and think this one is far better. Light weight, and very smooth.

I have no dislikes about this reel. It is fast, light and can handle anything I do with it. it is the best in its class for the price it is. highly recommended!!

Had unit for exactly 1 year( warrenty over) and flip lever not working and siezed up. I did use it a lot in Montauk for large fluke so maybe over used

This is the smoothest baitcaster I've used. I compared it to some $100 to $150 dollar caitcasters and this one out beat them all. I've never cast so far. It's got some great functions and it just takes some getting use to. So once it's adjusted to your lure's weight it's smooth casting from there. Apart from all of that, it looks great.

This is a reel for flipping and pitching. There are better options for just a casting reel. Practice and learn for to use the flipping switch correctly or it will backlash every time you use it. I wouldn't recommend it for someone just beginning to use a baitcast reel. Putting this reel on a heavy rod with some 65# braid on it requires some experience to get the hang of.

Love this reel! My new favorite fluke and seabass reel. I have this teemed up with a 6.5 Star rod stellerlite. My go to rig. Great price, great reel, definitely recommend it for bottom fishing for seabass and fluke!
