These are excellent for what I bought them for: holding metal model parts together while I solder them together. The points do need to be aligned and tightened with the screws. A few people on here are giving them bad reviews for not being shipped aligned and tightened, but that is expected for adjustable precision instruments like these. You actually NEED to be able to make adjustments throughout the life of tools like this to keep them in perfect alignment.

I've been doing electronics for over 50 years and now that I have decreasing sight issues, I really need to use something to pick up and hold components. The metal tip tweezers seem to get magnetized easily and small capacitors become difficult to handle. Other plastic tweezers break too easily (when holding M3 nuts against a screw). These tips really hold up against all those issues.

However, in my case, they do not really have to be precision. It was good value for the money, as long as you do not mind that the "jaws" of two of the three tweezers do not meet exactly, i.e. they are offset a bit. In my case, I am using them to apply wires to my 1:48 WW I model aircraft, and they work just fine for that.

I saw these being used in a YouTube channel and was impressed by how well they seemed to work. I purchased a set for myself and was not disappointed. Great value for the price and quality.

I ordered these because they act as a mini clamp. They will be super handy when soldering wires to components on a circuit board, and I won't be burning my fingers anymore. The ceramic tips are non conductive, which makes them especially handy for soldering around electrical components; I won't have to worry about creating a short. I do recommend these tools.
