Sally Hansen Color Foil, Steel A Kiss, Long Lasting, Opaque, Shimmery Silver Nail Polish

As far as UV-less polish goes, this is the only true "chrome" or silver you can get straight out of the bottle. It's one of the quickest drying polishes I've ever applied too! I'd say it dries even faster than the Insta-Dri line. I've been wearing #120 Steel a Kiss for about 3 days now. The shine is unlike any other - It's not a glitter polish, it's a true metallic finish. When you apply a proper thin layer, it goes on nice and smooth. The only downside is that the polish does peel off easily. It also recommends applying two coats, which may be more chip-resistant, but I found that one coat was full coverage. While the back of the bottle also recommends you use this polish without base or top coats, I find that the metallic sheen is just as marvelous with a good protective layer of the #101 Shiny Top Coat from the Miracle Gel line - perhaps even better.I can't overstate how much I love the metallic finish. It's less of a mirror chrome and more like, well, what reflective metal objects looked like in 90s and 2000s video games, if you can imagine. That's what I love about it, though!

This is my absolute favorite nail polish. It dries INSTANTLY and smooth. Easy to apply and so beautiful.

The media could not be loaded. It’s a nice silver color,my picture shows this polish with a coat of clear on top.

The shine and quality in this polish is exactly what it looks like in the bottle. It lasts long and dries fast. No stickiness. Great price.

Requires 3 coats to look silver and chips off quickly. Is pretty for two days.

I like the Sally Hansen Foil nail polishes for self-pedis, especially the "Steel a Kiss" color. I haven't found any others that provide the same metallic look, and I always get compliments on it. My favorite, goes with everything color.

Perfect silver polish. Not quite chrome. More of an aluminum foil color.

I think the name is very misleading. I bought this after seeing the pics that an Amazon promoter showed - “foil” painted on top of an OPI nail polish to give it a cool-looking effect. It’s SILVER - there’s nothing special about it so call it silver nail polish and not foil as if there’s something different about it. Now I can’t return it bc you can’t return polishes. I wish I saved the pic to post but I didn’t. Just know you are getting a regular silver polish and nothing else. It completely covered my existing dark polish and did nothing special to that color.
