ZAGGInvisibleShield Glass Elite Anti-Glare Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 14/13/ 13 Pro - 5X Shatter Protection, Anti-Fingerprint Technology, Easy to Install

I normally buy matte/anti-glare protectors, and this is not for me. Doesn’t do much for glare and the touch feel is quite bad out of the box. After a week the protector has “broken in” where my thumb hits the screen most of the time so that’s good I suppose, but >50% of the surface area still feels sticky and rough.Pros: the quality seems good and it was easy to apply properly without bubbles.

If you are trying to decide between the regular Elite and this Elite Anti-Glare, buy the regular one, not this Anti-Glare version. The Anti-Glare version actually makes glare much worse! See my photos for proof. The Anti-Glare version appears to spread out the light more, causing the reflected light/glare to actually be larger, preventing you from reading a larger area of your screen. It also has a matte appearance, which makes the screen slightly blurry all the time, where the regular Elite is clear and sharp. This happened in my indoor tests and outdoor tests. In both environments, the screen was easier to read and had less glare with the regular Elite. The Anti-Glare version also has a rough feel to it, like sand paper, which feels uncomfortable when you have dry skin. You can actually hear your skin rubbing over the screen on this one. The regular Elite version is clear and smooth.

I just looked at the item title after doing a search in Amazon for iPhone 13 Pro Max screen protector. This one came up and the title starts with "ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass Elite Anti-Glare Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max." I ordered it, and once received when I realized it was the wrong size, I looked at the order page again and saw that down below it says it's for the iPhone mini. Had to return. Disappointed that the title described a different size. Make sure you want a shield for the iPhone mini.

This is a great product. It definitely does everything as promised by ZAGG. However, keep in mind that this screen protector has a matte finish and it also gives the screen a different feeling to the touch. Rather than a normal glass feeling, you will notice very light porous touch. I can understand that this is to provide both, the anti-glare feature and the fingerprint resistant surface. I say "resistant" because fingerprints will still occur but they won't be as noticeable and can be easily wiped away compared to a glossy glass-looking surface.Overall, the screen protector does its job but it takes a bit to get used to that porous matte finish.

I loved how easy it was to install this, it’s basically idiot proof. The feel of it on the phone is more of a matte feel, so it’s not 100% smooth like one without the anti-glare, but it doesn’t bother me. I haven’t been out somewhere where glare would be affecting my visibility so I can’t speak to that quite yet, but I am sure it will do a great job. I am pleased with this purchase!
