Q: Is this a firm cushion?

I bought this cushion over a year ago because of a bad back. I considered it to be firm when I bought it and it's just as firm now. It was a good buy.

Hi Rosa, this product comes with a 1-year warranty.

Q: do you have to freeze the gel pack? if so , how long it stays cold?

In order to get the gel pack cold, it is recommended that you place it in the freezer for about 4 hours before use. Once you take it out of the freezer and put it in the center cutout, it should stay cold for about 4-6 hours for you. Sometimes longer (or shorter) just depends on the body heat you are giving off to begin with. Hope that helps :) - Kate
