I have been in a constant fight with my birds for a month. One of my turkeys has decided that my front yard is a better place to lay her eggs rather than her nesting box. As she can't entirely fly over the fence, she will hop onto the gate and then leap into the front, followed shortly by my guineas.After chasing them all back over the fence for the third time while brushing my teeth one morning, I ordered these spikes out of desperation.They work! She hasn't hopped on the gate since I installed it and I no longer find myself muttering about spring Thanksgiving while chasing her any more.These spikes are easy to install. They have conveniently placed holes for threading zipties through or you can use the provided double sided tape to stick them to a surface.My only complaint is that there wasn't enough tape included to install all of the spike strips on a surface. The kit did also include zip ties though, so you should have enough material to install all of the spikes on your surface, if desired.Overall, these work well to keep birds off of a surface. They are easy to install and include both tape and zip ties for securing them. They are well worth the purchase!

I purchased these in hopes of deterring raccoons from climbing a shepherds hook and emptying my bird feeder every night. After creating a 2’x2’ panel with the spike strips & a piece of plywood and placing it at the base of the feeder (see photo), I watched 3 of them walk all over it last nite like it wasn’t even there, climb the pole and reach over to latch onto the feeder.I was hoping for a better result ….. oh well.

I installed these spikes to deter squirrels from getting on my deck railing.They just walk on to of the spikes.

Every time I think that I've defeated the squirrels, they outsmart me...except for this time...I think.A 5 inch diameter tree has become a major highway for squirrels accessing my upper deck. I've tried pretty much everything I could find to deter them, and I really thought that the stainless steel bird spikes would work. Unfortunately it didn't take them long to figure out how to weave their way through. So I left those spikes in place, and added these spikes above and below the stainless steel spikes.My tree now has a 360 degree obstacle course, roughly 3 feet tall, at about 10 feet above the ground. It's been almost a full week now, and I've not seen a single squirrel run up the tree.

Easy to install

Squirrels are still able to get into the flower pots in spite of the spikes on the perimeter.
