Plum color is hard to find and this was the closest I could manage and in a pattern I liked. The color is not like the photo. It looks faded compared to the purple shown in the description and on the packaging photo. I purchased an eggplant bed skirt, hoping it would match but you can see the comforter is a lot lighter and when I was comparing online, they looked pretty identical. In the photo I held up what I consider to be a vibrant shade of plum just for comparison. These photos were taken in front of a sliding glass door during a sunny day and the one of the entire bed is probably the most accurate color. The pillow with the sequence and the ones showing the stitching are not a different shades; it's just the way the light hit them. The material is thin, like a semi sheer curtain but not see through and softer, and I can see how it might tear easily but I haven't slept with yet. The photos were taken right after I took it out of the bag and placed it on the bed, so you can see where it's wrinkled. This is probably to be expected since it was folded into a tight bag. The stitching that keeps the comforter in place inside the cover is pretty obvious and some of them are at an angle rather than horizontal. One of them had come out at the bottom of the comforter before I even put it on the bed. It's not a deal breaker for me but had there been more, it would be. I paid $89 for it and see that it's now listed for $108. I would not have paid that and think even the $89 is too much for the quality. I searched long and hard for a plum comforter and now that I have what I think would be the closest, I'm not bothering to return it regardless of its flaws, mostly because I just want to be done with it. That said, overall, I think it looks good on the bed. I don't think it's of very good quality though which is why I am rating it three stars. If anything changes then I will update this review.

It’s soft no doubt. But I’m not sure I like how lightweight it is, and the sewing on it looks cheap for the price you pay, plus it doesn’t come with sheets, makes it not worth it. The little pillow is so squishy though so I love that but that’s about the only thing.

This set looks nice. The weight is very minimum. It feels like a light blanket but provides much better warmth. If you like a light feeling comforter this is perfect. I like a little weight so I throw a quilt over top of it on colder nights.

Ok. It gets 5 stars because the quality for the inexpensive price. It is not as luxurious as the photo makes it look, but it was very inexpensive. It is very nice. Kind of the quality as my bed in a bag i got in HS before I boycotted Walmart. It's definitely nice for the price. I haven't washed it, so not sure it will hold up well. I will come back and add to this review once I wash it. I only use it as decorative. I have a heavy comforter I use to cover up with at night. This is on the thinner side, for a comforter. I am very pleased with my purchase!

I absolutely loved this comforter set!

The bedding itself is cute, but not liking the material inside the blanket. It sounds like paper every time you move. Im afraid to ever wash it cause I just know the inside material will be ruined and lumpy.
