I almost never write a review. However, the Theragun was worth it. I looked at a lot of cheaper alternatives but decided to take the plunge on this much more expensive massage gun. I am glad that I did. I've been using it for about a week now and it feels amazing. The power of the gun is more than enough to soothe strained and tired muscles. I use it on my lower back every morning and it relieves the stiffness. I am a big guy (250 lbs) and do a lot of weightlifting. I am often sore and this is why I decided to buy the gun. I am using it before and after my workouts and there is pain relief. This won't eliminate your pain but if you use it regularly, you'll get great relief.

Bought this as a gift for my girlfriend for her birthday. Never owned anything like it before. Went with the less expensive model since we aren't professional athletes or gym rats we didnt need the pro model. Battery is more than enough for what you need. You go to the gym, feel sore, use the device to break up the sore spots and then if needed plug it in to recharge so the basic model is perfect for 99% of the users out there. Even a gym rat who goes to the gym everyday would think this model is great. We have used it 20 times and only recharged it once so that is fine for everyone. I cant imagine an instance where you would need a longer lasting battery since it goes to work real quick. Great purchase and we both highly recommend it for anyone who trains, runs, swims, bikes or just feels sore from an overworked muscle. Would have been great to have after a moving day when we moved into our new apartment.

light .But I don't know I can bring to travel whether to put in check in luggage or hand carry. Did anyone has the experience ? The battery is attached , same as hair dryer, so my husband said it should be allowed in check in luggage but I like to use it during long flight and use it in the plane . Finally we did not bring it to travel

This is the best Amazon purchase EVER. I bought this in December for my whole family to use and we’ve used it every day for almost a month now! I personally notice a huge difference in my soreness after workouts. Specifically, I always get shin splints and using this before and after my workout totally knocks them out! The two speeds are great for this; when my shins are super sore I opt for the lower speed. I also carry a lot of tension in my neck & shoulder area, and this has been a game changer in releasing that tension.Also, if you haven’t yet, I highly suggest you check out Theragun’s app! It has really straight-forward how-to instructions for so many different aches and pains — that’s where I learned how to treat my shin splints. It’s nice that they have that information so accessible, so I feel like I actually know what I’m doing and getting the best use & results out of my Theragun. They have additional how-to videos for even more aches on their website, but personally I use the app more regularly.I also traveled with is last week over the holidays, and that was so easy. I just carried on the travel case as my personal item and it was smooth sailing through TSA, etc. You do have to carry on the G3 because of it’s lithium battery (similar to those suitcase phone chargers) but that was no problem and I didn’t have try to stuff it into my carry-on because the travel case is easy to carry as it’s own item. I used it before & after my 4.5 hour flight and I don’t think I can ever travel without it again.I am truly so happy about this purchase. I know it was an investment, but it is one that is already paying off, and I can’t imagine going back to my pre-Theragun days!

Bought as a present. Apparently it works great but not sure if it is “fixing” the problem or “numbing” the area so the pain is no longer felt. Either way, it works in making you mobile again. Be aware that the even with the “slower” setting, it still thumps your body pretty fast and hard. If you are a thin and boney person, this Theragun and the lower model may hurt you. You may consider the next level Theragun (way more expensive) or if you get this one, order the broader and softer attachment from their website to go with this.All in all, the G3 is okay. The product we received was a new and unused one unlike the experience of other Amazon users. It arrived in a big box in a reasonable amount of time and the Theragun is effective in relieving/ hiding muscular aches and pains but you need to experiment with it to make it work for your particular body.
