Will last forever!
We purchased these play forms six years ago when our son was about to turn 1. I am now reviewing them six years later to say this is the best expensive toy purchase we've ever made. Our son has used these through every single age and stage of his six years so far with no signs of stopping. They are still in pristine condition. I could seriously sell them as "like new" and no one would bat an eye. They've been jumped on, crawled on, and tossed around by him, his friends, and yes, both of his parents and the foam hasn't given out yet, neither has the stitching. As a little guy he crawled on them and he now uses them as obstacles for obstacle courses, as well as props in his imaginative play--they've been a stage, a train, a dragon, and more. Nowadays he'll drag them upstairs from the basement to play with, and I will open the basement door and simply chuck them down the stairs. They are seriously indestructible.Yes, they are on the smaller side, as other reviewers have noted, but they are also less money than so many similar products, and honestly, unless you have the kind of space that a kid's gym or daycare has, then these are completely adequate and probably better. They are easy to pick up and store out of the way, yet enough to play on as well.I just had to review these because no toy has brought as much joy and long-term fun than this.

Thought too small, but in the end, just right
They're a good size, I thought initially when pulling them out they were way too small. But, for a tiny human, they are a pretty good size where he can crawl, fall off, roll over, stand on it, etc, and not get hurt when those incidentals happen. Solid material; cats seem to attach them quite often in their launch-attacks at eachother and so far nothing too damaged. Tiny human also bites it often, drools on it, spills stuff, etc - pretty well kid-proof at his age (1yr). Time will tell, but he has fun climbing all over it and when we stack them in different configurations it's like an all new challenge.Wasn't sure at first, but I think I just got them before he was ready.

Best Purchase Ever!!!
These are one of the BEST purchases we have ever made for our son. We bought them when he was 10 months old as an early birthday present and he loves them. He plays with them every single day whether its by climbing on them, pushing them around, rolling balls down them, or stacking them. The best part is that they wipe clean with a baby wipe. They've gotten 3 months of hard play from us and they still look brand new. I'm considering buying a second set so he has double the fun!UPDATE- I has now been more than 2 years since we purchased these and I still recommend them to everyone. My son plays with them every single day in some way. He climbs on them, stacks them, builds things with them. His cars drive on them, he slides on them. Sometimes they're a house, other times they make a garage for his cars. Other times they're a table for a tea party. These shapes were a FANTASTIC purchase and they really have stood the test of time, they still look brand new!

They have had them for almost 2 years and they have so much fun with them
I stumbled across these on AMZ and have they been a hit with my grands. They have had them for almost 2 years and they have so much fun with them....especially during the winter when they spend more time indoors. The older child was 2 1/2 when they arrived. She was so delighted. I think these could be fun even before their first birthday (while supervised). The baby started crawling over them and had fun, too. Now with the older child 3 1/2, they are still favorites at playtime. We make obstacle courses with them - adding the tunnel, the castle and the "river stones" (CP Toys 5 Pc. Lightweight Vinyl Soft Play Forms) The product quality is very good and they will last a very long time. They are expensive but I think you get much more for your money than spending the same amount on multiple other toys..

decent
I have a 12 month old and an almost three year old. They both love these blocks. They definitely are smaller than ones you may have experience with in kids gyms or day cares. They are too small for my two year old to really climb on but he likes stacking them up and knocking them down or making a tunnel out of them. My 12 month old definitely is the primary user of these blocks. He loves climbing on the wedge, rectangle and square blocks even though they do not stay together. The cylinder and half circle don't really get a lot of use. They are a good quality foam and vinyl though. I still think these are a decent value compared to the price of other blocks I have found but if I bought again I'd probably get larger blocks though just so there would be more longevity of use.
