N Rage Demi Permanente Hair Color, Cobalt Blue

I never write reviews on here but this dye is SO DAMN GOOD that I just HAD to! So before finding this wonderful dye I had been dying my hair pink for like 6 months. I tried several different brands (pravana was the best before I found this) but all of them rinsed out fast even in cold water only showers. The first picture is the day I dyed it and the second picture is today ONE MONTH LATER. I wash my hair every two to three days and I’ve been able to use warm water now even.GET IT! Beautiful vibrant pink that lasts so long. You won’t regret it.

I’m a professional stylist and this color is just as good if not better than anything I can purchase professionally. This color will stain your skin so be sure to wear gloves and apply vasoline around your hairline and to whatever you don’t want colored.This is Semi permanent so you don’t need a developer. I have found this last longer than most so called permanent hair colors. Be sure to choose the color you want because that’s the color you’ll end up with if your hair is prelightened. I used twisted teal and it is TEAL BRIGHT TEAL. If you’re unsure about the color and how bright it is do a strand test If you find the color is a bit bright for you add it to conditioner, you will need a little water as well. Shake up the color conditioner, and water until mixed well. If you’re using this method I’d probably leave it on wet freshly shampooed hair for 2+ hours with a shower cap. To make sure you’ve reached the level of color you want do a strand rinse test, if it’s not the color you want leave it on longer or add more color to the conditioner mix. This color is very pigmented and will last a good 2* months with normal washing and a good sulfate, paraben free shampoo. A low poo shampoo works best on color treated hair.If you want to remove the color buy some vitamin C powder and add equal amounts of it to a harsh shampoo like Prell or Head and shoulders apple scent. Leave on for 30-45 min rinse repeat if you want more color taken out.Also rinse hair with cold water after coloring. This will help lock in the color.

I love n'Rage. I've used it for years, both the cobalt blue and purple plum, usually layered at the same time. Following the advice of a reviewer here, I leave it on for a couple of hours then rinse first with white vinegar and then cold water until the water runs clear. It lasts a looong time, and looks great, even as it lightens from a dark color to a brighter, lighter hue. I renew about every 6-8 weeks, depending on if I'm "feeling" the lighter color or want it dark again.That said, when I purchased this over the winter, I bought a container of purple from this product listing and a container of blue from another seller. They are pretty much interchangeable in color, making me wonder if there was a poorly mixed batch of purple out there. Attached is a photo of my coloring glove after applying the purple again today. As you can see, the glove is bright blue, not even vaguely purple. I could have requested a refund when I first got it, I suppose, but since I use both anyway, I'll just keep using it "as blue" and find another purple elsewhere. However, if you really are set on purple, test it first before applying to your hair. Out of the tube it's too dark to tell which it is, so spread a bit around on a glove before applying to make sure you'll get the color you want.

I have been trying to find a hair dye with unnatural colors that actually stands up to what others and the product says it should do and be. I used blue splat and purple metallic got2b and while I loved how the colors came out they weren't exactly what they showed and they didn't last as long as I would have liked without having to redo them. So I came on here and did a search and came across this and I have to say that I am absolutely completely satisfied with how bright and vibrant the color came out. This is the exact color of pink I wanted and I will definitely rate this product a ten out of ten and most definitely be using it as I work my way thru the rainbow with all my unusual hair colors. Lol. I have been recommending it to everyone! If you want something amazing this is the way to go. Now I bleached my roots but the rest of my hair was like a pinkish light purple color and I just put this over top of that and it came out amazing, still without bleaching the middle and ends.

I absolutely love the feisty fuchsia color, because the color lasts so long, and just fades to a lighter pink over time. Normally I purchase it locally, but this time when I went to buy it I was told they keep selling out of it so fast they can't keep it in stock (not surprised! It's a beautiful color!)... So I ordered it from Amazon, and thought "Sweet baby Jesus! I can get it delivered right to my door! Heck yeah!"... But I just got all set up to dye my hair, pulled the little foil circle safety seal off the end of the tube, screwed the lid back on, and went to give it a shake.... The thing exploded all over my hand! It split right down the side seal and half the bottle spilled all over my hand (before I had the chance to glove my hand, because come on, who can really get ahold of those little foil safety seal pull tabs with gloves on?!)... I had to squeeze the bottle out on my head, and scoop it out like a fat kid with a Mayo jar, and work it in like shampoo, because there was no other way to get remaining contents all out of the bottle.I'm currently sitting here for the instructed 15 minutes waiting to see if there was enough product left in the bottle to actually dye my entire head.Anywho, this is a beautiful color (from multiple previous experiences) and smells amazing (like bubblegum!). I would definitely recommend purchasing/using this dye... maybe maybe search it put locally, and don't be impatient like me. Lol

So far I've tried 3 different brands of blue dye, and this one is the best. I tried this one when i couldn't find my usual Schwarzkopft blue dye, and it turned out to be stronger!It lasts long, but comes out fast when you shampoo. I usually wash with conditioner, so this stayed a month before it reached a point where I wanted it darker again.It faded nicely, into a lighter blue that didn't look yucky (I also used silver toner on my very light bleached hair before, so that helped with the fading but yeah, this stuff stays pretty vibrant even while it's fading!)My only complaint is that the texture is a little pasty/on the dry side? So it took more than I expected to cover my shoulder length hair, but the second time around I mixed a little conditioner in there, and it smoother out the texture perfectly! It's pretty concentrated so a few dollops of conditioner didn't lighten it much.

I've tried 4 or 5 different brands of colour trying to find one that will last longer than a week. The best til now has barely made it 2 weeks before being washed out and terrible looking.This stuff lasted nearly a month and a half before starting to reach that point!I always thought semi and demi were the same thing, perhaps I was wrong and that's the difference here.

Really love this hair dye, came out a wonderful colour, which stayed about three weeks, it than faded to a green (alpiney kinda colour) which did not fade at all, I have since dyed over it with a dark blue, which mixed well so is now a teal colour again :-) definitely recommend this product, but be warned; it gets everywhere and it has proper staying power :-)
