VeeBath Essentials C Type Shower Screen Door Seal for 6 mm Glass Upto 23mm Gap

Removed an sanitary eyesore
We have lived for 8 years in our new build and by now a few things require attention. One particular eyesore are the bath glass panel seal strips that have collected both calcium and mold over the years. After measuring the glass thickness I ordered the 80cm length version of the strip. It arrived wrapped in a foil. Before applying I removed the existing mould and calcium from the glass and bath tub with detergent and a painter’s blade. Due to the sturdiness of the plastic it was impossible to cut the strip with a stanley knife so I had to use a fine saw to cut it to size and get the 45 degree angle on the other end.Must say I’m quite pleased with the result of my little job that only took a little longer than anticipated. The strip seems to prevent very well from water seeping through

works as intended. stiff to get on but once in place it's fine
it does the job. it was tough getting it on to the glass, but after that was done (a few hours later), it works like it is meant to. keeps water out :)If you found my review helpful, please can you let me know by clicking yes.

My advice: DON'T BUY THIS
I read the reviews and there were a lot of positive comments so I bought it. I spent well over an hour trying to put it on the shower door with no luck. I later realised that the plastic on the inside of the seal was coming off and blocking the inside of the seal hence it is too small for the door. However it is described as fitting a 4 to 6mm door which is completely inaccurate. I should have known with the price that it was too good to be true. My advice is don't buy this one.

Ok - but not really suitable for circular shower screens.
This is ok, does the job. However you must bear in mind that the plastic that clips on to the glass is quite stiff - it doesn't have a lot of flex. So it will break, if the glass is very curved. Straights, and mild, gentle curves are ok.I ended up with one broken (had ordered two, fortunately), and so had to make do with the remaining one. However, I did actually just need the one, so it was ok.Bottom line: if your shower glass is a circular curve, it's probably going to flex the plastic too much, and break it.

Not recommended - not sturdy at all, doesn't create a proper seal
This fits okay and seems to do the job at the moment, but it's nothing like the quality of the OEM that came on the shower door that I'm trying to replace. It gives me the impression that I'll be lucky if it last 12 months but I'll report back when I have to replace it so we'll see. It's a lot thinner and feels less 'dense' than the existing one. I'd be very interested in trying to find a heavier-weight alternative is anyone knows any that are any good.*UPDATE* This didn't last long at all, and turned out to be a complete pain in the backside because it simply wasn't sturdy enough to stop the shower door from moving around so invariably it moved slightly and flooded the bathroom room with overspray. It is definitely a case of false economy and 'value engineering' going so far as to make a product that looks right but is generally unsuitable. I ended up having to go to a physical store and look at some to check they were useful quality which I really hate doing.
