My baby came 3 weeks early and I hadn't yet given a thought to how I was going to sanitize my breast pump parts and bottles. A pot of water constantly on my stove, accumulating a calcium ring around it and needing to wait for it to boil in the summer heat was getting to be too much. I've been using it for a month now, almost 3-4 times a day, and it's still in great shape.The downsides are that it's bulky and it has been on my counter or in use since I bought it. I bought an electric sterilizer and dryer for sterilizing bottle and pumping parts. The electric one worked great, but was very time consuming. Having the microwave sterilizer makes washing and sterilizing parts go by much faster. All I do is wash the parts, add the water, and microwave for two minutes.

I’ve used this a couple times so far to sterilize my spectra pump parts and it works well. I appreciate that the instructions have diagrams showing how to optimally arrange the pump parts and/or bottles parts in the tray for sterilizing. That was super helpful for me.Seems to be made well, good quality. If you have really tall bottles they won’t fit standing on end though. But this fits shorter bottles (including the shorter Dr. Brown’s).

I tried the traditional way using a pot and boiling water but this is way easier and burning free

I should’ve gotten this sooner. I had been using the munchkin microwaveable bags but then they weren’t available for purchase anymore for whatever reason. Then I got the medela bags and they were so much smaller than the munchkin bags and I felt like it took me forever to sterilize bottles and parts every night. I still have to do multiple loads w this sterilizer but a lot less. 10/10.
