Brilliant!
I wasn't sure about these at first. I got them during lock down but didn't really use them. Yesterday, I cut my dog's hair again and this time I went over him after the cut, using these and the effect is amazing. Took so much weight out of his coat without making him look like he'd been scalped by a total amateur (which I am). Will use them all the time now. Fantastic tool for my little border x shih tzu x no idea. He's so much cooler in this heat too

Definitely won’t work on fine, feathery fur.
I couldn’t find any double sided scissors on amazon for fine fur area (I need them for the feathery fur around my Retriever’s ‘trousers’), so ordered these hoping they’d work but they didn’t cut the hair at all. In total fairness, the description does say for thick hair, so don’t make the mistake I did if that’s what you need. Shame they don’t make a version for fine fur.

Do a great job!
These scissors are great, exactly what I wanted and needed. We have a Romanian rescue dog and while she is good with most people, I just don't want to put her through the ordeal of going to a groomer. So that means I've been doing all the trimming/clipping/floofing etc. myself and I am by no means a professional. These scissors are perfect for her thick coat because I can trim away and thin it down substantially but without risking making and silly looking mistakes because of the nice way they thin and trim, they don't do a hard straight line cut. The only small downside is that I did have to continuously pull hair out of them as I worked, but honestly that might be more down to how thick Winnie's fur than a flaw of the scissors.

You may think they aren’t cutting but they are!
Fab little pair of scissors. I have a Cockapoo and under lockdown we are starting to find little mats in her coat. These scissors are great for breaking up the mat so it can then be teased out with a comb without hurting her.

Good thinning scissors
These are good and at a fair price too . They make thinning around my dog's face a very easy. Good sharp blades. I have 2 pair of Mikki grooming scissors These thinning ones and also a pair of straight bladed ones they are both great and cut well.
