Not right hardware
Really nice wheel but the hardware didn’t fit! The bolt was too big so we had to go out and buy the proper one which left my daughter disappointed that her wheel couldn’t go up right away!

Massive and realistic design, questionable durability
Purchased on 6/24. Installed on 8/11 according to directions. Very easy to install— and quick! Love the authentic look of the wheel and it’s massive size! It really gives the feel of a ships wheel, as well as spins fairly easily with a neat clicking sound to mimic the real thing.However, by 8/30 the wheel broke from its bracket holding it while it was being spun. Really disappointed in the quality and durability. It didn’t even last a month on our playset. Really surprised by this because we’ve purchased a number of swingset items from Eastern Jungle Gyms and have always been satisfied with there quality and durability.Buy with caution, and I recommend installing fairly soon after purchase in case it breaks, so you’ll able to exchange/return. Because we took so long to install, we’re outside the return/exchange window.

Ahoy Mateys.. great pirate wheel for our play structure.
Delivery time was as expected. The wheel itself is as expected. I don't believe it came with install directions, but it was really simple. I selected this one after reading other reviews.. I wanted a decent size 'Captains Wheel'. The reviews for this one are right on in terms of size of the wheel. As others stated, it makes a clicking sound as you turn the wheel. My 5 year old loves having this as an addition to his play structure. You also could mount this to a board or studs in a wall.. many options. I would buy this item again.

Great addition to our treehouse
We built a treehouse last year and it needed something to go with it. When looking for a DIY swing set kit, we found this ships wheel. Our children now have something else to play with to use their imagination in the treehouse. Sturdy and easy to install.
