A must have!
This product is the best! I can’t say enough great things about it and I refer it to everyone! I didn’t even know I was in labor for 5 hours, so I had to be rushed to the hospital and had to start pushing once I got there so there was no time for an epidural or any drugs. I only had to push 5 times and I did not tear! I started using this at 34 weeks every other day, and I went into labor at 37 weeks and 5 days. I honestly believe this product sped up my due date and reduced the pain of my contractions. I highly advise applying in the shower because it does drip very fast and can get messy when applying

It worked
One of the weirder tasks during pregnancy. I had no idea if we were doing it right. But I had a very minimal tear during delivery and did not need stitches. I actually didn't really have any pain down there after.

Non-irritating!!
I’m 34 weeks pregnant, so we’ve began the perineal massage process. The product is great!! I chose it after agonizing over which oil to use. No source recommends a particular oil brand. I didn’t want added fragrance or essential oils and some data suggests oils and propylene glycol or glycerol can increase infections so I went with this. No irritation whatsoever, we may have used it for other intimate purposes, too... However, the perineal massage itself burns. As stated in the pamphlet it is designed to help you learn to cope with the impending “ring of fire”. I will update after birth but for now I am very happy with it!Update: well, I did not have a perineal tear... I tore the other direction. 🤷🏽♀️ You never know what’s going to happen.

Useful for its purpose, especially for getting into the mindset
I liked buying something that would be helpful in getting the right mindset for giving birth, especially when I could get into overthinking mode... what if this, what if that. The massaging was a way to, every day, be like, okay a baby will come out of my birth canal. This is happening. My husband this the stretches since I couldn't reach anymore which also provided an opportunity to talk about our concerns. I ended up getting an episiotomy after much, much, much thought because my baby was presenting shoulder distocia. However, for baby number 2, I would still buy to massage again.

Wouldn’t say it’s bad or good
Would say it’s bad or good. It helped a bit with the perineal massages prior to pregnancy. We only got to use it for about a month (twice a day) cause my baby decided to come early. He was born 7 lbs 13 oz and I had a second degree tear + a pretty gnarly tear on the side of my labia (I can feel both stitches on my perineum and my labial side).

Great
Used for labor prep for both babies. I was told it was the best out there so I felt safe using this product

Good product
So far so good. Bought for my perineal massages while pregnant. Hoping that it will reduce tearing.

Great All Purpose Massage and CALMING GEL
We use BabyIt as an all purpose BooBoo gel, for after sun burns or irritation from chafing during sports, or to wipe with when bottoms are raw after illness. I even use it as an isotonic wound protectant gel for leg wounds on my horses. Anytime in the past I would use furacin or KY to coat a wound, I use this now under the wrap. The tissue stays much healthier and heals faster without the irritating high salts in other products.
