I tried a fair amount of shapewear in anticipation of my wedding and found options were not aggressive enough in their shaping (often correlating with being more likely to roll/move around) or make you look like an unflattering sausage if you can get it on (looking at you SKIMS). I kept reading online about Rago but couldn't find their products in my city to try on. I finally gave in an ordered this two weeks before my wedding even though I already had another option purchased. NO REGRETS! This looks great from head to toe and really stayed in place. My dress had a slit on one side and I just rolled the hem on that leg up by a single fold and had no problem as the dress was loose enough at the position it wasn't noticeable and it still stayed in place even with the "stick" rim no longer against my skin. Also, the dress was tight and none of the ridging/material pattern showed through. I was also surprisingly comfortable - I have chronic pain/fibro and almost felt like this helped me maintain a "safe" posture.I'm 5'9" and ~135-140 lbs - White, Medium/28 fit perfectly

Ordered a medium and I'm really pleased with this fit and quality of this shaper! I'm 5'6, 125 lbs, and typically wear a size small or medium depending on the brand (leaning always to a size medium in bottoms) and it fit true to size. There is a Rago size chart if you google it and using their measurements, I was between a size small and medium and was worried I would pick the wrong size but it worked out fine. If you are between sizes I would go with the size of underwear you wear.Pros:- True to size- Super effective for smoothing lumps and bumps- Really sturdy materialCons:- Boning is a little uncomfortable when sitting, so you have to sit strategically- Crotch hole thing looks like it is going to be interesting when trying to peeOverall really pleased and I was skeptical.

I was worried at first that this shaper was too small, as I struggled to get it on... but nope, it was the perfect size! I have a 29/30 inch waist and ordered the Large/30, which fit very snug and brought my waist down to probably 28 inches. It's obviously a very old-school style of shaper as the fabric is pretty sturdy, but it's not built for comfort like more flexible and spandex-y modern shapers. The first time I wore it, I was told repeatedly that my dress looked like it was perfectly tailored to fit me- but it was honestly this shaper. I would wear it again for events where I want to look like amazingly sleek but can avoid peeing at.Pros:- Very slimming- Extremely sturdy fabric- this isn't flimsy lace!- Hole in the crotch for peeing- Garter snaps inside the legs for wearing stockings with- Very slimming if you buy the right size, especially the reinforced front panel- Boning keeps the top from rolling down- Fabric is breathableCons:- Hard to get off- Metal garter snaps can dig into your leg- you'll have to find them and move them around once in a while if they leave a sore spot. Otherwise, just cut them off if you're never going to use them- Not sure if hole for peeing is large enough- Leaves a bit of a pronounced fat roll between the bottom of your bra and the top of this slimmer- buy a longline bra to flatten your skin, or a wide belt to wear over your dress and cover it up- Boning/seam ridges are visible if you are wearing a tight dress- Fabric is not soft feeling- I didn't find it itchy, but I understand how others might. It can make your fingers feel a bit rough after pulling it on

This shape wear is no joke! I was very wary of the lace material peaking through clingy material, but that was not the case. It was seamless and cannot be seen under thin dress materials such as cotton and polyester. Better shaping than spanx!I suggest wearing it around the house and/or wearing it on the regular basis before wearing it to the intended event because it does take time getting used to.
