Made a great gift

Knife came in excellent sturdy box package with leather carefully waxed papered and bubble rapped. Knife was in separate rapping with knife fully oiled and ready to be wiped and enjoyed. It appears to be Damascus steel and very well made. But I haven’t tested it yet. Slight over shoot when handle was polished, but only a fraction of an inch over the top of the blade. Other than that the handle was properly grinded, with a supper polished finished. The blade has a very beautiful design and finish with an open X design cut on the top of the blade that adds to the pleasure of owning it. Came very sharp and ready to use it appears on anything softer than steel! Haven’t tested the hardness yet but Damascus is supposed to retain its edge. I will be sure to do just that. Other than the over shoot on the top it’s a beautiful piece of art and can be used for display and for the price I’m very happy with the purchase. If this blade stands up to regular use I will be sure to buy their other goodies!

Has some heft with balance and feels good in the hand.

I only got this knife because I needed a cheap fixed blade. Honestly, just because this was "cheap" doesn't mean it's lacking in quality. I expected crap and received probably one of the nicest fixed blades I've ever handled. Edge needs fine tuning but that is ok! I would easily.put this knife up against any of my other hand forged fixed blades that I payed 500$ or more for.

Super nice for the money. Haven't really put it to any tests but as far as craftsmanship it is great. Really sharp, it is carbon steel so when you get it it is covered in oil which takes awhile to clean up.
