Best Computer Keyboard I Have Ever Owned Regardless Of Price, Full And Detailed Information.
Firstly this is NOT a "budget keyboard" I do not consider £54 to be budget, £10 - £15 is what i would call a budget price for a keyboard.Useful Things you need to know:1. The keys are 100% compatible with all cherry switches2. The switches are replaceable3. It is 8 Bit RGB (256 Colour)4. Every key can be its own colour5. It is hardware and software controllable6. The software allows you to calibrate the white levels7. The software allows you to save and restore profiles8. The cable is 6FT long9. It is made of heavy metal and ABS10. The software lets you create 30 user RGB profiles (10 per profile)11. The software works on XP up to windows 1112. The RGB profiles are saved in the software not the keyboard as a text file (in the skins folder) meaning you can back them up and restore them.13. You can only achieve a proper white colour through the software, without this it is pink instead of white14. When using the software to select colours it brings up a 32bit colour palette, however the keyboard supports 8 bit colour (256 colours) therefore the software needs a patch to correct this, alternatively temporarily set your monitor to 256 colours in the control panel15. 16 million colour support on any keyboard is a useless gimmick, 256 colours are more than enough*I have created and attached a windows bitmap showing the colour settings to get a perfect white colour*The windows colour picker settings are as follows:HUE:76SAT:240LUM:172RED:125GREEN:255BLUE:111There is a reason why without the software the white looks pink, this is because red led's need less current to achieve the same brightness as green and blue led's, entering the above values corrects this.Right on to the keyboard itself:Well it really is very very good in all aspects, the lighting is uniform and bright (5 levels of brightness) the keys are perfect for typing and gaming, it's also nice and compact with a lot of weight to it, the fonts are big and bold and very easy to see in any situation and if you want to set individual key colours without using the software you hold down the FN key along with the key next to the number 1 marked as the ¬ key, once this key stars flashing you hold down the FN Key again along with the right arrow key to select a colour, now you can tap any key and they will change to this colour, to save your settings in to the keyboard you press the FN and ¬ key again. The led's in this keyboard are of very high quality, even beating my corsair k70 RGB and that keyboard cost me £115. (over twice the price) The Redragon K552 is the first keyboard i have used in 10 years that has managed to do white properly using RGB led's, i have tried with logitech, corsair and razer keyboards and none of them could manage it.Without the software loaded you have 8 colours to choose from and black (off)Red,green, blue, yellow, orange, cyan, white, purple, black (off)With the software you have 256 colours (32x8)I am not allowed to post links here but if you search YouTube for K552 RGB software you will find a video and a direct download link in the video description box, the name of the YouTube user is: Abhinav HerculesNot only does this software control all the lighting it also allows several macros to be sent to the keyboard, it also allows saving and restoring profiles. There is also another software that will work with this keyboard called OPENRGB this is found on the source forge website.Note: The rainbow, non RGB and single colour versions of this keyboard will not work with any software. The dimensions of this keyboard are:Length: 353mmHeight: 24mmDepth: 124mmCompatibility:Well i have tested this and managed to get the software working on windows98,XP,7 and 10 and no doubt it will work on Linux using the WINE windows compatibility layer, note: it may not work for everyone on the older operating systems especially 9x but with a little patience it should be ok.The Redragon software does not need to be installed, so you can drag the folder anywhere and just run it directly, it loads instantly no messing about at all, it does everything you need and nothing you don't really. Even the software's skin is customizable.Noise:Not much to say here, they are pretty much identical to Cherry red switches, so they're not "clicky" but you certainly know you've pressed them, if you wanted you could use "o-rings" to completely silence it.In a nutshell:This is an excellent keyboard for music makers, gamers and typists, it does the lot, due to it having individual key lighting you can save profiles for different softwares making this keyboard my number1 recommendation in all aspects, it looks beautiful, performs fantastic and it has a great price.

Rgb and red switches... wow!
The red switches are so much softer than blue, some feeling and sounding different than others. The rgb is perfect, i wanted a bright one with numerous options and that’s exactly what i got. 5 different brightness settings.Keys easy to type with, took a little bit of getting use to if you type fast but that’s normal. Perfect for gaming and not too loud but not silent like membrane ones either. love it

Its heavy, little and full of fun
love it for £50. Get the software from red dragon Brazil website. Only one that would install. Don't know the language but still got it to work in about 3 seconds. Led brightness is good. Keys are smooth. For a lower price keyboard there will be some quality control things going on but I'm happy with the one I received.

Great keyboard, however only lasted a month
I was very happy with this keyboard. It seemed great value for money -it is tactile, easy to get used to and amazing for gaming.Problems started showing up 4 weeks after purchase - some keys from the top number row would stop to respond at random intervals. About a week after that the whole row stopped working completely rendering the keyboard useless.Sadly the seller does not offer refunds past a certain point so I'm left with only the memory of what great device this used to be.

Great value for money and seems reliable so far!
Great 60% keyboard that looks very pretty. Keycaps are very easy to change and look great on the white base. The lighting is brilliant and there are a lot of modes to choose from. Gaming performance has been perfect so far and the switches feel satisfying to type on.
