I would think if this holds up the way it is doing now for a while longer, I might very willingly pay the higher price in the future - but that remains to be seen at this point in time!Original review: Had this for over a month now. It is holding up very well after lots of chewing and squeaking. The doggies love it, so went back to order 2 extras as back-ups for the day this one is done but I honestly don't see that day coming any time soon!It has held up very well with lots of use and is a favorite of not only my puppy but the neighbor dogs love it as well! Makes a good pull toy for play time. Excellent dog toy all around and I like the larger size for our labs and goldens (from a puppy to two adults). The doggies and I are very happy with this purchase.

One word of warning, the duck's head has a plastic toy in it's head that my dog had torn open with 20 minutes, the problem is the appleseed sized plastic thingys that my dog tried to eat. Otherwise, this is a very good toy, with great squeekers that will drive your dog insane. Mine has alot of fun playing with this one but I notice he doesn't play solo with it too much. He uses this toy to get my attention and to try a tug or war, he also carries it around (sometimes tripping over it because it is very long). Everyone seems to step on it by accident and jumps a bit in surprise (this duck turns up all over the house including the bathroom, the hallway, etc). It also makes a great foot massage and torture toy combination when I don't really feel like playing but can read the paper and step on this to keep my dog busy trying to get it away from me. The squeekers have somewhat different sounds to them allowing for endless musical melodies.One other word of warning, others in the house may find this toy extremely annoying due to the noise. My husband hates the duck :\

January 2015She loves to play with it, attack it and drag it around. I would recommend this toy to other small dog owners, with the caveat that the toy has some potential drawbacks.When playing with toys, our dog is not just a biter, but she is a chewer; when she is in the mood, she chews on toys until she bites a piece off and then swallows it (unless we catch her trying to do so!). After a few weeks of play, the toy is holding together well.June-2015Over time, our dog has managed to chew & bite through the fabric at the end of the tail, exposing & freeing the squeaker inside one of the pockets. Like with most toys of this type that my dog owns, I had to sew the pocket shut by hand myself so that she would not consume the fabric itself or the squeaker parts.All in all, this is a very durable toy which my dog loves to play with, chew on and generally drag around the house. I recommend this toy for small dogs and I would buy it again.

I got this for my golden lab who loves squeaky toys. It was on sale and I used discover points to purchase. I give it four stars because I didn't have to pay for it. I would never purchase this item for 20 bucks. The toy it fun, but it is made poorly. My golden lab loves to chew, but we made him not tear into this toy because it's so cheaply made. He loves how squeaky it is, but has slowly gnawed out each squeaker. He loves this toy, and I love how many squeakers there are in it. After two months, he has got out about half of the squeakers and about half of what are left don't work anymore. He still loves this toy though, and continues to play with it. I'd give it 2.5 stars at full price and 5 stars for 8 to 10 bucks.

My dog can’t just enjoy a squeaker. He must find it, remove it, and destroy it. He tears fluff out of all his toys just to make sure he didn’t miss a squeaker. He’ll carry a squeaker around the house to make sure he doesn’t lose it. Once he’s sure there is no more squeak left, he’ll move on.He loved this thing. Just when he thinks he has accomplished his extraction and destruction mission, another squeaker emerges. I can’t knock the durability because he is on a mission when squeakers are involved. I can say that it lasted longer than I expected. He did systematically remove each squeaker then de-fluff the head. Just watch your animals because you don’t want them eating it. I think he would say it was a good value.

Hi,Plush puppies Squeaker mat is a great toy for dogs or puppies who keep their toys like small girls keep their dolls. It is well designed with minimum cotton in it since some dogs eat it, like mine does, but it did be much better if they wouldn't had used any cotton filling in it, it wasn't necessary too since they had only put a small quantity of it in the toys back leg. The toys head is very strong and it can come off the toy, but it still won't tear, not until you have a pit. The squeakers quality was poor, lost four of it in 2 hours, it just got folded in the toy and doesn't sound anymore on pressing it. Can't expect any more from a $10 toy. Overall it's a good toy with not so good quality but worth giving it a try for the price tag.
