I don't know why this product is not touted more for it's blood sugar lowering ability. It has been proven to be as effective as Metformin in lowering blood sugar without all the horrible side effects. I've been taking it for about a year now and it definitely works. Seems to be working so far. I've ordered this product twice & do recommend! Pills are of average size capsule, easy to swallow. No taste noted nor after-taste. No side effects. Cost is average compared to like products. Havent noticed huge gastro improvements but product has definitely lowered blood glucose. I don't have diabetes but do have fluctuations in blood sugars. So I'm using hopefully to see effects in lowered blood glucose & have aslways had gastro issues including bloating, gluten intolerance, constipation,etc. Maybe I'll see more improvement related to those the more I use this item. 🤞

Berberine was recommended by my doctor for my SIBO and constipation. Generally due to Mast Cell issues I cannot tolerate many herbal supplements, but because this Berberine is lower dosing (200mg/capsule) it gave me more control over the amount I took. I was able to spread out the dosing over many hours. Additionally, these are capsules, not gel caps, which for me was better tolerated. I felt it was helpful and for me it worked better than the Xifaxin.Only warning is that the Berberine does interact with pharmaceuticals. I found it enhanced potency of prescription drugs for some and other times it reduced potency. A skin rash did begin on my hands about day 10 and so I took a break. However, as I felt improvement to my SIBO and constipation while taking it, I will take it again, but a lower dosing and carefully watch for any return of the skin rash.

I have been taking berberine for several years for my sugar levels with great success ...got this hoping for even better results did not check my sugar for several weeks and had diabetic trauma !!! Maybe it will work better for you but I switched back to the cheep stuff.

Drink plenty of water so these don't come back at you in a harsh way. These are good to help with your gut miceobiome.
