Nice enough but very lightweight

I’m writing this to hopefully stop others making the same mistake I did. This is a nice looking, cheap set and for many they would be perfect. But I make mainly amigurumi and ‘under-hook’, with a tight tension. I did only 10 sc with DK yarn and the hook bent so much I thought it would snap. It has to be said, I’ve broken aluminium ones as well so I should have known better. Maybe good for Afghan makers, who don’t abuse their hooks so dramatically. I didn’t try the larger hooks as I use them rarely.

Great to use, but the writing telling the hook sizes rubs off within days

These were super bendy, which a crochet hook is not supposed to be. Had to return them straight away. Got a refund with no problem though
