Fun and great looking car

I bought this from a different retailer and not from Amazon. I purchased it brand new in the box, and we were missing different pieces. We were lucky to have spare pieces from other sets to finish it. I would suggest purchasing a different build.

I did not buy mine at Amazon , it was at another retailer , however since there are no reviews I shall share my opinions of this set .There are NO STICKERS and the parts stay together very well.The build itself and a nice straight forward relaxing experience . The interior is detailed as is the hood and trunk area .All in all , not a bad set , although I hasten to say some private sellers might be taking advantage of lack of stock locally .I do suggest you try to find it locally or at least place it in your wish list in case a time comes when Amazon will be selling this set .It would not be fair to speak of the price I actually paid , but I can tell you it was MSPR .I rate this a 'Dreamer Must Buy' !Happy Holidays , Dreamer

This was a fun set to build and my only complaints would be that some parts are very hard to connect and that the color of the actual vehicle is much darker than it appears on the box. It's a deep purple which I don't think looks as nice as the lighter purple shown.The pieces themselves were all there and came in nine numbered bags and/or steps. The instruction booklet is huge too and nearly as long and wide as the box it came in. The hood and trunk both open to show off the engine and speakers, and the steering wheel and gearshift are movable. It even looks like the hardtop can be removed if you want to make it into a convertible.I bought this for fifty dollars (which is retail) and definitely think it's worth that. It's the second one of these that I have built so far (there are a total of four) and although all are pretty hard to find, I'd definitely recommend buying them if you can get your hands on any.Here are the names of the (4) building sets that Mega has made for Hot Wheels if you want to search for them ~ Street Rodder ~ Purple Passion ~ Bone Shaker ~ Rodger Dodger
