CHI MEI N156BGE-L21 REV.C1 LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 15.6" WXGA HD LED DIODE (or Compatible REPLACEMENT LCD SCREEN)

Not a CHI MEI OEM screen, what arrived was a BOE (Beijing Oriental Electronics) display. BOE is apparently the #3 LCD manufacturer currently? Though I can't find any m information from a reputable source to confirm that.. I also received a different model number than the one I ordered, and this almost motivated me to send it back, but after some research, this model is made to the same specifications and I decided to try and install it.Took about 30 minutes to install, and is working fine. I've been using it for about 3 days now regularly. No complaints to report yet.Didn't ship with a mounting bracket, which I should have expected, fortunately I was able to fix the old ones and reuse them. Don't throw them away when you yank your old screen.Will update this if anything changes, but so far I'm pretty happy.

Received part as promised. Mine was NOT the original Chimei product as i was hoping for (although I understand merchant warned in its product offer).I'm not a computer maintenance person but it was relatively easy to install in my Samsung laptop.As far as performance I have the impression this screen is not as bright and is not as sharp as the original one. Not that it is blurry and/or too dark but just doesn't feel the same.Bottom line I guess is I bought what was advertised, but I'm not 100% satisfied. I'm living abroad now and I'm not willing to go though the hassle of int'l shipping that would cost probably more than the part.

I put this screen into my Sony Vaio VPCEH I3 laptop. Watched a video on youtube showing how to replace it. I was very surprised at how easy it is to replace an LCD screen. Once I had it installed I was amazed at the screen clarity and brightness. Great LCD screen! It increased the value of my laptop by $100.00. I originally was going to sell it for $350, and was shocked when the first person I showed the laptop paid $450. The old screen had two white vertical lines down the left side of the screen, was pretty annoying! If this LCD meets the criteria for your laptop and you are looking to replace your LCD screen, you can't miss with this LCD! Search no more!

The screen arrived in perfect condition, installation took less than 30 minutes, and the screen worked flawlessly once I powered the computer up. As a bonus to me, the screen actually arrived a day early (and I am a Prime member). I recommend this product without reservation.

My wife accidentally stepped on my laptop one day. It was about a week after I purchased it. The only thing that was going through my mind was... I should have gotten that Hazard Warranty. In any event, I took the laptop apart and started searching for replacement screens. I found this one on Amazon, as well as a few on eBay. I decided to go with Amazon because of Prime. The seller sent the item really quickly (Thanks Amazon!). I went on youtube and found the instructions on how to replace the screen for my particular laptop. It took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. The laptop is like new again. Product has been working great for about 2 months now. Excellent buy!

Bought this to replace my cousin's broken laptop LCD as a going-to-college gift. LCD came packaged and protected well, and worked great as soon as it was installed.NOTE: Always make sure you are getting the right LCD when you are ordering a replacement. To do this, you will need to look up the model # that is located on the back of the LCD currently installed in the laptop you are repairing. You will need to remove that LCD to see the model #. It will be printed on a sticker that is located on the back of the LCD.

My 14 year old son cracked his Asus laptop screen. Got several quotes by technicians to fix for approx. $200. Did a little research found this replacement, it is the exact same screen as the original, it works like a charm! In my research I found a Utube video on how to replace your lap top screen. It gave step by step instruction and I was able to do it myself for just the cost of the new screen and shipping. I installed the screen a few weeks ago, and so far so good. I am very happy with this screen and the cost!
