This face wash is amazing. Does anyone else remember sleeping with toothpaste on their face to shrink stubborn zits? This face wash had the same effect without all the mess after ONE wash. This feels like the first huge win in my 14 year fight with acne. I'm in love.

Smells bad & not enough granules.
FYI--The tube I received smelled a little strange. It's definitely not the fresh scent of other Biore Baking Soda products. It's like the odor of a lipstick that has gotten too old, if that makes sense. In terms of texture and performance, I don't think this cleanser is anything to write home about. Like other cleansers in the same price range, it has very few granules, so it never really feels like its scrubbing anything. I'm all for being gentle with your skin, but a scrub is supposed to provide some level of mechanical exfoliation, or else it's just a plain face wash. This doesn't. However, it's pretty good at cleansing away oil. I usually use Cetaphil, but every now and then I like to do a deeper cleanse, which you can get with this cleanser. However, this is just a mediocre face wash at best. The lack of granules, and the off-putting, non-fresh smell make this a "meh" item.

I love this face wash!
I love this face wash! Makes your skin nice and clean without drying you out too much, I've also noticed this gets a full face of makeup off pretty darn well (effortlessly actually)! Which is actually hard to find in acne preventing cleansers. That was a nice surprise and this keeps my face clean and smooth and has helped me with acne. I'm 29 btw (-_-)

Greasy
I regret this purchase. The beads are wax so when they melt, my skin is left with this greasy residue. Additionally the formula is creamy like cold cream rather than gel soap. Image if you rubbed candle wax on your face and tried to clean it with lotion at the same time. Yeahhhh it’s not so great. Especially bad for oily/combo skin.My nose gets rubbery and greasy from this. Also, the “scrubbing” beads are not exfoliating. As I said they are wax balls that melt rather quickly. A better choice would have been grit that scrubs. Like baking soda, or charcoal powder, or pulverized walnut shells, or micro crystals. I have no idea who the intended customer was for this soap. Maybe someone with very dry skin and acne? Definitely not for oily/combo.

This works
This face wash works. I had used apricot facial scrub (that also has salicylic acid) for years, but then the formula changed with walnuts added and I finally realized my skin was becoming terrible not because of me, but because of the product. I recently switched to this and it's been a game-changer. My skin is smooth, shiny, and all the little roughness on my skin from the apricot scrub have disappeared. I also use Alba's Pineapple facial cleanser afterwards, followed by applying Acnizil for extra acne combat. Perfect combination for my acne-prone skin; I recommend for anyone with acne issues. I'm going to be buying this in bulk.

Works great on my combination skin!
After one week of use so far, I can truly see great improvement in my complexion. The fine pimples on my face have disappeared, and my face feels smooth again, and not oily (which I’m sure is in part due to using the Biore Witch Hazel toner after washing my face). I also follow up with a night moisturizer. I’ve tried many facial cleansers, including Proactive, Clear & Clean, etc. which dried out my skin and began to irritate my sensitive skin even more. I will come back and update after a month of using Biore. So far, I’m very pleased with it.Update 5/16/19: It has been over a month now that I’ve been using the Biore Cleanser w/Baking Soda, and the Biore Toner w/Witch Hazel. My face is no longer oily, nor is it dry, and my complexion seems brighter, and my skin is smooth again and all the pimples are gone, and so far have not reappeared. I wash my face with the cleanser every night, pat dry, and apply the Toner with a cotton ball. I follow up with a night moisturizer. I’m very happy with this product and it is the only cleanser that has worked for me consistently compared to all the others I’ve tried over the years. I know others have stated it doesn’t work for them, but we all have different skin types and different degrees of sensitivity. I would suggest using it with the toner, since Witch Hazel is known to be good for your skin. Update 8/18/19: Continues to work great on my oily, sensitive skin. My face is smooth as velvet, no more breakouts since I’ve been using Biore Baking Soda Clenser and the Witch Hazel Toner nightly. It’s also long lasting, I’m still using the same bottle I purchased in April 2019!!! It has even cleared up marks left by past blemishes, and it has a pleasant smell.

Excellent
Very nice! Finally I've found something I can stick with. I'm not a fan of using facial scrubs since they make it feel like rubbing wet sand on my face. This foam feels so nice and smooth. It has the smell of fresh oranges which makes me look forward to washing my face everyday. Sadly there is no miracle soap that prevents acne but this does a good job of keeping me from having serious break outs and I consider that a win. Thank you for inventing this great product.

Buena!
