Barbie Mattel Collector The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II Esme Doll

This is a gorgeous doll. The face is very pretty and the likeness is close to the actress, even though it definitely has a strong Barbie look as well. They included the beauty mark on her left cheek just like Esme has in the movies which really adds to the strong likeness. The clothing is of excellent quality and the style of it is so perfectly Esme...modern and classy. I haven't opened her yet, but the pencil skirt appears to be attached to her top, probably one piece.Her hair style, her make-up, her clothing...she is absolutely beautiful all-around. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Getting her for $12 was a total steal. She has the same pale skin as the rest of the dolls - no sparkles but she doesn't need it. Comes with the doll-stand like all the others as well.Highly recommend this doll for your collection. Even if I wasn't a Twilight fan, this would be a beautiful doll to give as a gift or to add to any collection.

Esme doll is stunningly sexy! Her dress is fitted to her body and she’s working those stilettos! Lol. However, there’s one problem and I’m referring to her hair. When I took Esme out of the box, her hair was very sticky and oily. But I didn’t give up on her, so I simply applied baby powder on her scalp and throughout her hair by massaging it in. Then I comb her hair from scalp to her ends repeatedly. Next, I placed a bowl of water in microwave for three minutes. Dip the hair in hot water, (medium hot) swirl the hair around in the bowl for 10-25 minutes. Get dish detergent and gently wash her hair with cool water. Rinse, towel dry and the blow dry on cold setting. The results were satisfactory and her hair had lots of body!

The toy itself, is nicely done. Bought 3 Twilight Barbies, all came in same shipping box. (Edward, Emmitt, Esme) for a Christmas gift.Exterior of shipping box was fine. Each and every Barbie box inside was dinged and the clear plastic on them was scratched with clear scuff marks on front and sides. Showed no care at all in handling these. Looked like boxes were rubbed and slid together across a sidewalk. I was embarrassed when I gave the collector these Barbies. I had no time to return them, but I shouldn't have had too.I am a Prime member so I tend to look for sellers with Prime. Unfortunatly, Amazon is careless when it comes to collectible figures.I have made multiple Barbie/DC action figure purchases through Prime with same result; serious scuffs and bent boxes. Unfortunately, I will not purchase any items fulfilled by Amazon for future collectibles. If you want your items in a collectible state, I recommend NOT going with orders filled by Amazon.Select a reputable seller from the seller list that knows how to handle and ship in an appropriate box. I have been burned multiple times, so I have come to expect it.Sorry, this review focused on orders fulfilled by Amazon. Beautiful, just like Esme in the movie. It was a gift, my sister really loved it. I hope to get all of the Twilight dolls for her collection. Thanks you for the care that was taken in shipping. It was as if she rode on a cloud and not on bit of damage.

I bought this as part of my Twilight collection. It's one of my favorites of the Barbies. Some of the Twilight characters don't look like the characters from the movies, but Esme does. And the purple blouse is lovely.

This is a beautiful doll. They even kept the beauty mark Elizabeth Reaser had in the movie. The outfit is classic & very designer. That's Esmae for you. Always put together & polished. I'm thrilled with my purchase!

The doll arrived (after a failed first attempt) in good condition. The Barbie looks similar to the character Esme in the Twilight films and is rather pretty.As a Barbie doll collector, I am happy with this purchase.
