Q: Can it be used without having to be plugged in?

Yes. You only have top lug in to charge. It holds its charge for a very long time. My husband is a runner and uses it almost every evening. Only has had to charge it maybe once or twice since he bought it. Averaging out to almost one charging session per week and half or two weeks.

Q: Ad states 100 watt, owners manual states 20 watt.

The correct information is 100w brushless motor (w-watt), 24v 2500 mAh battery (v-volt). Our massager is very powerful, have 20 speeds setting. Some people find out that is even too strong. Massage gun can not give this power with 20 watts. Hope it will help.

Q: Can I buy a replacement charger? We seemed to have misplaced ours?
