Vornado Whole Room Heater and Fan

I ordered one of these, but without the remote, for my old office, and I loved it. When I left the job, I didn’t take it with me, so I had to buy one out of pocket for my new office. I had a Vornado personal heater around, but it is not powerful enough. I bought a Vornado whole room pivot heater from Walmart because it was on sale, but it was like a hair dryer, and didn’t heat the whole room, so I returned it. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy this one, but with the remote, because I know I like it. When I received it, it was like being reunited with an old friend. Lol. I love the thermostat, so that I can choosey ideal temperature, and it is maintained. This heater heats up the whole room gently and evenly. It’s very comfortable, quiet, not intense. The remote allows me to stay focused on my work instead of dropping everything to change the temperature. If you are considering buying this heater for a small to medium sized enclosed space, then I can’t think of a better choice. Also, I have tried other brands of space heaters in the past, but I am pretty loyal to Vornado unless I am looking for something that looks like a fireplace or something. Out of all of the Vornado heaters, this is my favorite. I could do without the remote, but prefer it….but highly recommend at least springing for the model with the thermostat. I bought mine open-box, like new on Amazon to save money, and it was perfect. No problems. I would definitely buy again.

I bought this heater for a room that I work in, recreate in and pretty much spend most of my day in leaving the heat in the rest of the house turned down low. I had previously had a parabolic heater that was more than 10 years old when I started having concerns about it. It frankly didn't do much to heat the room but the cat sure loved it. She would plonk down in front of that thing and roast her old bones. I, on the other hand, would cook on one side and freeze on the other. I thought I would take a chance on this Vornado heater. It is expensive, but worth every penny. It really does what it says it does and it is virtually silent. I do have to gripe about the remote controller, though. It is not very good (hit or miss on the buttons) but even without it I would buy another Vornado if I ever needed one. I am considering buying one for my brother for christmas who also "lives" in one room of the whole house most days. Good product. I'm impressed just not with the remote.

The media could not be loaded. I love these things, couldn't remember where I bought these from originally (Costco), but I can't complain about it. It works like a charm, quickly heats up the warm or you can have it slowly warm it if you want it to not be drastic or use as much wattage. We ended up creating it's own circuit, because we got tired of it killing the whole room's power. 😅 Remote works, nothing fancy, again, can't complain. I don't have any opinions about the company I bought this specific one from, but I can couch for this heater. We now have 2 of them and my boys couldn't be happier, since I keep this house at least locker temperature.

Over the years, I have had a number of Vornado heaters, with different degrees of success. This new whole room heater and fan is the best! It keeps the right temperature, is so easy to use and set the temperature, and the remote actually works perfectly. Also, it keeps my bedroom (with high tray ceiling) WARM! Love this heater by Vornado! I now have 2 - one for my bedroom and one for my office!

This unit is advertised as a full room heater. The one I got wouldn’t warm any room. Barely put out any heat. I have a sneaking hunch that it was a damaged unit that was resent as new. I have another Vernada unit that indeed warms my room!!

I bought this to replace a Vornado Whole Room heater that died (after 5 years). This model has a remote, which is great. I can turn it on, it heats up a very large bedroom to toasty. Great product, highly recommended.

I have this at my office. It is great under my desk. I do wish that their were two fan speeds.

This was a gift from my spouse...who apparently objected to my icy cold hands and feet. My office runs much cooler than the rest of the house. 62 degrees is fine for a brisk walk but tough to type in. This heater has an excellent thermostat. Operations are intuitive--easy to set and change temp, easy to turn on and off, easy to switch between fan only or heat. I liked it enough to purchase another one for another family member (the one I like, not the other one).
