My 13 yr old ordered for his 6’1” dad. It has been used many times and all the boys prefer this bat.

My son (12) swings this drop 3 better than his drop 5. Doesn't have to move to a drop 3 as of now but feels more confident swinging it

Son says it feels lighter than his Alloy bat that’s the same size. The pop is decent, he’s a contact hitter so I can’t speak on HR pop, but it’s no less than the Cat 8 he was using so once broken in I would assume it will be better due to its lighter swing so he will get the bat through the zone faster & give the ball a ride more consistently. I rate a 5 for the light swing, but since I can’t comment on pop & durability yet I’ll say it’s an east 4, 4.5 overall at the discounted price.

This bat is hot right out of the wrapper. The whole barrel IS the sweet spot.

Best bat ever

I'm not a baseball player. My son was and is. For many years through high school. He loves this bat. The things he especially approves of are:1) A "great grip," in his words. It's thick, quality, grippy, taped beautifully with no lips.2) He likes the slight increase in diameter of the bat's grip towards the bottom knob/butt. Just up from there the handle bells out slightly from its narrowest dimension mid-grip to about 1/4 inch wider diameter by the butt/knob. He really likes this widening in a bat, though he says some other high school players don't.3) Giant sweet spot and great pop. Six inches of sweet spot, he thinks, giving lots of room to feel the bat's extraordinary pop.This is the fanciest, most expensive bat Easton has made. It's for high school and college play with the BBCOR rating. And it's a nice bat. Psychologically, it's pretty cool to play with what's likely the best bat on the field.
