Very good book on Tatting,written instructions are detailed,but would have liked pictures to have been in color

If you've never tatted, this book isn't for you
I have never tatted before and I have to say this book is pretty useless if you're trying to teach yourself to tat. I ended up getting a teacher to get me started because the illustrations in this book just didn't make sense to me. I thought I'd be able to do it because I taught myself to knit and crochet, but not with this book! I have some patterns to use now though.
